I would never buy anything from this BMW dealership or would I ever recommend it. Martin Illev is excellent. That’s where it ends. First contact in February & 2.18 Emailed card details of the one I eventually bought. 2.27 I returned the credit app and a white chick wired the money payment in full. So far I have not received any original document providing me a paid bill of sale other than the installment credit agreement I signed. From day 1 they knew the car was going to PA and I needed MSO and Bill of sales documentation that is still not in my hands (3.20) in a useable form to get a license plate. No Maronony stick was on the window or in the car.Sales mgr Tom Mignosi is useless and talks down to me. Doesn’t give you his cell and we have left many messages on his desk phone because he seldom answers.So having the car which finally was released afterthought 10 days and tremendous arguments. I have had the car almost a weeks but can’t drive it without a PA plate.I hired an automotive attorney to revise my rights and guidance as how to proceed.Tom finally sent the MSO not properly signed and notarized again useless and I am send it back today on my FedX Priority on my $$.The Autonation clerk which I had to dig out, told me the notary is only there on Tuesday so another week delay.Everything is outsourced totally inefficient and nasty …no customer appreciation at all, No one gives you a cell # to contact. They all say I look into it, ie the Maroney sticker.Should I continue? It’s a terrible experience and everyone at Carlsbad BMW thinks I am a “pain in the xxx” except Martin who is limited in his ability to assist. This dealership has taken out every ounce of pleasure I would get from owning this great car. Of course true to Carlsbad BMW fashion I don’t know who your are or if you really give a dam about my story. In the next few days I will decide about contacting your local better business bureau, or sending the car back and contacting one of the local Tv newscasters, or should I just send a note to Automotive News to which I subscribe. I requested a refund of an extended warranty on February 12. It is almost 30 days later. I cannot get through to anyone that can help locate my refund via phone (no one answers) and I have emailed the finan 12. It is almost 30 days later. I took my car one time to my local BMW dealership for service one time, I felt unheard and dismissed. I find it is worth the drive to bring my car to BMW of Carlsbad where I know I am cared for as a valued customer. Stefano always goes beyond to address me with respect. I can truly say each person I encountered there was amazing. I felt the job was completed in record time. The team notifications kept me up to speed and the video of the undercarriage was amazing, it helped me to know my own car. A JOB WELL DONE. Thanks so much I will see you again for my next service. Out-of-state buyers beware. I purchased a CPO 2022 M550i from BMW of Carlsbad. The buying experience was fine up until we completed the purchase, where our service advisor and m I purchased a CPO 2022 M550i from BMW of Carlsbad. The buying experience was fine up until we completed the purchase, where our service advisor and manager were suddenly unreachable for several days at a time and would never return phone calls, text messages, or emails. Calls to the general sales line led to me being asked to leave voicemails that were virtually never returned. The purchased car sat on BMW of Carlsbad's lot for about 3 weeks before they coordinated cross-country transportation. Following up twice a week was met with radio silence. This begins the recurring theme of zero post-sale service. The most egregious issue was the dealer's inability to register the vehicle in my home state (IL), The car was finally sent to me about a month after purchasing the car with the prior lessor's California plates in the trunk and no temporary plates. Yes - the car was not legal to drive on IL roads at this point it was delivered from the dealer. I followed up with the service advisor and manager on a weekly basis who seemed surprised that they would not have provided temporary plates. There was virtually no communication with the dealer about the status of the registration despite my follow ups who assured me that "the registration was in process and they were waiting for the IL DMV to respond" over the course of 6+ weeks. My plates and registration finally arrived in the mail without warning over 10 weeks after I purchased the car. To add further injury to this process - due to the dealers inability to properly title and register the car on time, I am now getting hit with a $525 penalty from the IL DOR as the dealer registered the car over 6 weeks past the 30 day required timeline. I have been reaching out the dealer for a week to see if they can provide supporting documentation and no surprise - anyone I dealt with when purchasing the car is unreachable and I am asked to leave voicemail messages that are never returned. The dealer was happy to sell me the car and take my money - but there has been ZERO post-sales support starting the day after the purchase. Out-of-state buyers beware. More
