Chad Thompson was helpful and knowledgeable and was able to help me find just the right vehicle. After test driving a couple different models he told us to wait in his office while he walked over to the other lot and brought me the car of my dreams in just the right color, I must also mention Eric Grififth who was also very helpful when I took delivery of my car. European Delivery Being 61 I was looking for my "last new car" so I wanted it to be exactly correct. As such I spent several months asking questions and researching. Du Being 61 I was looking for my "last new car" so I wanted it to be exactly correct. As such I spent several months asking questions and researching. During this time my advisor, Alex Upshur, and the sales manager were very patient telling me to take my time and they were there to help me in any way while I was making my decision. I was never given the "high pressure". I decided to use the European Delivery program and it was a fabulous experience. Just like in the movies when I arrived at the Munich airport a chauffer in a black suit met me holding a placard with my name. My free ride to the BMW recommended hotel was in a 740I. (By the way, the hotel was a quick walk to the old Munich city center with loads of shopping and great restaurants and, it being December, the outdoor Christmas markets.) The next day it was a 5 minute walk to the subway for a quick ride to the BMW Welt which was just next to the subway station. I went to the third floor where a pretty blue eyed blond German woman who spoke perfect English did the paperwork. I then went to the lounge where there were free pastries, cold cuts, hot brotwurst and of course beer. Soon I met my delivery gentleman who took me to a vehicle simulator for instructions on the safety features. From there we walked onto a balcony and two floors below was my 335ix GT on a turntable with a spot light on it. We walked down to the vehicle where I was given further information and was photographed next to my new vehicle. I was given a memory stick with photos of the BMW Welt and my delivery experience and vouchers for an engraved key fob, entry to the BMW museum, the factory tour, and a 10 euro credit toward a purchase in the BMW shop. The next day I toured the factory and the museum. All the paperwork and delivery to BMW of Ann Arbor went off without a hitch. It was a very excellent experience which I can heartily recommend. More
Best experience I have every had buying a car! I received STELLAR assistance when I purchased my BMW. All employees, were knowledgable and very helpful! There was no run around, just straight forward answers, no pressure and above all professionalism by all that we encountered. The way we were embraced made us feel that they wanted our business and so we gave it to them, unlike the Audi dealership we had previously been to. He wasn't at all pushy as many other dealers were, and he let the car speak for itself. He seemed to understand just what we were looking for and was able to answer all of our questions about the new technologies and comforts (a lot to learn because our current vehicle is 12 yrs old). I used to work for a German company , so I was well aware of the expertise and performance of BMW, but I must say it was Alex and the dealership that made us comfortable enough and assured to make the investment. I continue to ask Alex a question here and there, and he is always as informed and cordial and attentive as can be! More
