Autos Direct Online sells an average of 300 vehicles every month. This customer's trade was not intentionally ignored and left unpaid. Our office staff is often overwhelmed and unfortunately, this trade was simply overlooked. The "three days" before December 27th (as described by the customer) were of course December 24th (Christmas Eve), December 25th (Christmas Day) and December 26th (the day after Christmas). We understand that not everyone celebrates Christmas, but our office (like most other businesses) was either closed or staffed by a skeleton crew on those days. The personnel required to issue a check for a trade were not in the office. The sales staff that were present are not able to address the problem themselves. The owners of Autos Direct Online are not the staff members responsible for addressing issues such as these. They were also not in the office for the holiday. This customer's check was issued on December 27th and the issue has been resolved. Autos Direct Online sells an average of 300 vehicles every month and we have a 99.4% positive feedback score on eBay. Every month, we have an average of 3 to 5 negative reviews - we are never going to be able to please each customer, but unfortunately, we don't receive a positive review from each of our satisfied customers. We are very happy with the amount of satisfied customers that we cultivate each month with the lowest prices in the country for quality used vehicles.

Autos Direct Online is not certain of the factual integrity of this review. The vehicle this customer placed a deposit on was a 2009 SUV with only 60,000 miles in excellent condition that was still under factory warranty. Our deposits are in fact refundable, only when the vehicle is not as described. The issues listed in this customer's review were false claims made against ADO in an attempt to damage our online reputation. Our sales manager Juan Rosario made several attempts to appease this particular customer, but he was very unreasonable and Juan was forced to contact the local authorities to remove him from the ADO premises. This vehicle (that is absolutely not a "lemon") was sold 3 days later to another (very satisfied) customer. Autos Direct Online sells an average of 300 vehicles every month and we have a 99.4% positive feedback score on eBay. Every month, we have an average of 3 to 5 negative reviews - we are never going to be able to please each customer, but unfortunately, we don't receive a positive review from each of our satisfied customers. Autos Direct Online ships approximately 80 - 100 of the 300 vehicles sold each month. We appreciate the risk that a customer takes purchasing a vehicle sight unseen, but our sales associates offer video walk-arounds or independent inspections to those customers to help them feel more comfortable about their purchase. The Carfax report is available for each of the vehicles that we have for sale and when a customer completes their purchase paperwork, they acknowledge that they have taken the opportunity to review the Carfax report, which is the only vehicle history available to Autos Direct Online. They acknowledge that: "a.) I have had an adequate and full opportunity to inspect the vehicle myself, and to have a third party or mechanic or my choice make the inspection for me. b.) I have had an adequate and full opportunity to request from Autos Direct Online and other sources all information about the vehicle that I need to determine whether I wish to purchase this vehicle." Should a customer choose not to arrange a third party inspection, they acknowledge that they are accepting the vehicle "As Is." As outlined on the Autos Direct Online CPO Warranty paperwork, a turbo is not covered under the warranty. Another clause in the paperwork states that "Total claims under this plan may not exceed $1500." There are a number of extended warranties available to each Autos Direct Online customer that offer more comprehensive coverage. Any repairs/reimbursements made that are outside the ADO CPO warranty are at the discretion of the owners. Autos Direct Online sells vehicles across state borders, particular to Pennsylvania, on a very regular basis and we do not have issues with vehicles passing the PA inspections. However, we are never able to guarantee that a vehicle will pass inspection and this customer's claims were unfortunately not documented. The estimate received by Autos Direct Online was not accurate as to the necessary repairs needed for the vehicle to pass inspection. The estimate included an alignment, a wiper blade, and the cost of the inspection itself, which Autos Direct Online is not responsible for covering. We are currently working with this customer outside of Dealer Rater to come to a mutually agreeable resolution.

Having functional wiper blades is part of a PA inspection. The alignment is required because the front tie rod end had to be replaced, which required re-aligning the front end. The cost of the inspection is not your responsibility, but was part of the total estimate provided be the certified mechanic. Autos Direct has NOT tried to work this out. I filed a claim through the Better Business Bureau because this dealer would NOT respond to my complaint. Here is the Autos Direct Online response to my BBB complaint: "We sell all of our vehicles in as is condition. Demarr Knowles no longer works at our dealership. We are not required to fix cars to pass PA inspections however we did inspect your vehicle. We encourage all customers to do their own third party inspections which you opted not to do. We will not be paying for the repairs. Thanks." You call that "working with this customer"? My next step is Cuyahoga County Clerk of Courts.

As state by the reviewer, Autos Direct Online is a very fast-paced dealership, selling 250-300 vehicles each month. Because of the high volume of sales, customers are not able to wait 3 weeks before scheduling an appointment - most vehicles are sold within 7 - 21 days of arriving at our facility. Customers often mistake our recommendation to set an appointment as soon as possible as a pressure tactic, but the vehicles sell very quickly. Our sales associates advise the customer to set an appointment sooner rather to avoid the vehicle selling before the customer is able to come in for an appointment/test drive. We do personally answer each of the hundreds of daily emails generated through various marketing sites such as Cars.com, AutoTrader, eBay Motors, etc. However, it is much easier for a customer to call into the sales line to speak with one of our sales associates for specific vehicle questions and detailed information concerning a particular vehicle. Our sales associates take each phone call seriously and would never turn away a potential customer. The price of all vehicles at ADO are set by comparing the price of comparable vehicles (year, make, model, mileage and history) across the entire country. We do not price our vehicles according to KBB or give trade appraisals based on the KBB trade value. Our vehicles are sold at wholesale prices, which is always reflected in a trade appraisal. Our customers save thousands when they purchase a vehicle from ADO, as such, we are not able to match other dealers' appraisals. The environment at ADO is very different from a typical dealership - we are fast-paced office and unfortunately, the purchasing experience with us is not for every customer. We are sorry that we were not able to earn this customer's business, but we service hundreds of satisfied customers every month who appreciate the atypical dealer experience that saves them thousands of dollars compared to other dealers.
