In December 2012 we went to the dealership because we had purchased a vehicle from ebay from this company. One thing you should do is make sure you thoroughly inspect your vehicle and be on your guard becaus purchased a vehicle from ebay from this company. One thing you should do is make sure you thoroughly inspect your vehicle and be on your guard because Dan is a crook. I will tell you why I say that: 1. He indicated that over 600 people on ebay have given good reviews, that is because the car we had purchased had no gas in it. He then went on to say that if we give the company a positive feedback on ebay he would fill up our gas tank. He threatened as far as I am concerned that if we gave a negative feedback he would know it was us. 2.Since the car was practically empty we had an option of doing the positive feedback at home and getting a $50 gift card or doing the positive feedback in the office and them filling up the tank. He indicated that the gas gauge is on empty and it probably would be better to do the feedback while sitting in the dealership office than to wait until we get home because he said that the tank would probably need more than $50 gas. I should have known better he told me he is a Toyota person himself he knew that the car would fill up for less than $50 my toyota camry fills for about $50 and the Matrix has a smaller tank. 3. The ebay listing says that the car has an existing warranty. The existing warranty is a 30day 1000 mile warranty that does not cover anything. When I think of it now he blamed it on ebay that they put that information on ebay for all car transactions. Initially he had said is the existing warranty. Yes ebay's warranty is there but the "existing warranty" was put there by the dealership. 4. When we got home we found out that the only way to lock the driver door and the passenger door behind is manually. My boyfriend tried to call Dan Caldwell. He left him several messages and when he finally got a hold of him he told my boyfriend to call when the business opens (it was holiday season time). My boyfriend called again and he never called him back. Customer service wise I think he should have at least had the courtesy to call back rather than just ignore him. 5. They taught me not to always pay attention to reviews not only because of ebay but they provide customers with gift cards for writing them good reviews on various websites. The price was good. If you want to deal with them make sure you inspect the car with a fine tooth comb before you leave because trying to get a hold of them after that is a total loss. More
This is not your usual dealership. This is a fast paced operation. You need to know what you are looking for in a vehicle and the value and price your want to pay. It is up to you to take responsility fo operation. You need to know what you are looking for in a vehicle and the value and price your want to pay. It is up to you to take responsility for what you are buying. You do have the option to take it to a mechanic. Would recomend purchasing warranty to cover yourself. Juan was very helpful and seemed to have our best interest at heart. Would recommend to family and friends providing they follow the above mentioned advice. We are happy with the 2009 BMW 328 i with x drive. We would continue to do business with Auto Direct Online. More

After purchasing our our 2009 Jeep on November 29, 2012, we received a call from the bank on regarding our trade-in car. The dealership never paid off our trade in balance as of December 27, 2012. We have we received a call from the bank on regarding our trade-in car. The dealership never paid off our trade in balance as of December 27, 2012. We have been attempting to reconcile the situation with several staff members for three days. They will not return calls or give an explanation or solution. We asked to speak to the owner and the employees all refused to let us talk to him or her to get the problem resolved. I would not recommend anyone to use this dealership. The manager actually threatened and hung up!! Aweful customer service!! Not paying off a trade in effects the buyers credit and accrues interest and late fees!! We also have not received any paperwork to get the plates on the used vehicle we purchased. More
Juan Rosario, my contact for Autos Direct Online, stated that the Vehicle was in “excellent” condition as advertised on eBay and I would receive my money back if the vehicle was not as advertised and what h that the Vehicle was in “excellent” condition as advertised on eBay and I would receive my money back if the vehicle was not as advertised and what he told me after I checked it over. I did not sign any papers or agree to anything. No paper work was provided. I drove 12 hours to test drive this substandard xxx. I would not have driven 12 hours to test drive this pile of junk if I hadn’t been promised my money back if not in “Excellent” condition. I used his mechanic. A list of things that are wrong with this lemon includes: 1. The DVD player does not work. Inserted DVD. It did not work. 2. The Brake Fluid is burnt, freshly topped off, and leaking. 3. The power steering pump is bad and the power steering fluid is burnt, you can hear the pump knocking from a mile away. 4. Juan also said there was no rust on the engine but low and behold there was. 5. The rear hatch remote has intermittent problems opening and closing. This is expensive to replace. 6. There is a coolant leak; the mechanic could not find the point of origin because the engine was steam cleaned. Further inspection is required. 7. The battery was bad, not taking a charge, and would have died driving home in the dark. 8. Power Steering fluid is leaking at the rack. 9. Juan told me that the tires where 7/32 all the way around, but the front tires are only 3/32. In an AWD vehicle like this one all tires have to be replaced at the same time. Expensive. 10. The serpentine belt is bad. This vehicle’s serpentine belt is expensive to replace. 11. The vehicle was not well cared for, as advertised. 12. Juan advertised on eBay and told me several times the vehicle was in “Excellent” condition. It is not. He also said the vehicle was thoroughly inspected. If it was he knew or should have known these problems and told me before I drove 12 hours to find out. This is called “fraud”. Lying in order to extort money. I informed Juan Rosario of my findings after inspection and he would not accept the mechanics’ report. He informed me he did nothing with tires and I should expect to pay for repairs . I informed him I could not accept a vehicle in this condition and I would like my $500 dollar back. He said that he will not do that. I indicated I would not leave until I get my money and talked to his manager. He stated he was the manager (Not on his business card and never stated previously). Another employee/salesman told Juan to give my money back or it would be a another $500 fine, as they already had problems on the Ohio Vendor Complaint Hot Line. Return my $500. This vehicle did not qualify as in excellent condition available for purchase. More
Terrible Experience, Fradulent representation of vehicle, Fully Misrepresented their Inspection Process! I purchased a $13,600 Audi wagon from ADO, December 3rd. I was told that the car was covered under Fully Misrepresented their Inspection Process! I purchased a $13,600 Audi wagon from ADO, December 3rd. I was told that the car was covered under warranty for 30 days or first 1000 miles. I was also told the vehicle" was "fully operational" after being driven by the sales rep @ ADO, Mr Dan Caldwell, prior to delivery. It was delivered to my home town 400+ miles away by an auto transport. I drove it 1-2 miles towards home when it stalled and was unable to be restarted. Towed, the mecahnic says the car is "very sick". The turbo is blown and oil has been leaking in to the exhaust system ruining it as well, further more the car had been in a major accident in the past. The repair estimate is $6000+. I contacted my sales rep, Mr Caldwell. Slow to respond, he eventually had the sales director, Mr Juan Rosario, contact me who said he would talk it over with the owner, but stated "you have my word" that we will fix this issue so that "you are fully satisfed". That following day the owner of ADO, Mr Vince Hugo wrote that "Unfortunately we can't help you with this car. We inspected it and found no issues with the car before shipment. We would never ship out a car that had a bad turbo.Sorry for the incovenience and let me know if you have any questions." More
On October 29, 2012, I purchased a 2006 Buick Lacrosse from Autos Direct Online. Prior to purchasing the vehicle, I called the dealership on 2 occasions inquiring about the 2006 Lacrosse. During both call from Autos Direct Online. Prior to purchasing the vehicle, I called the dealership on 2 occasions inquiring about the 2006 Lacrosse. During both calls, I told the sales representative I live in PA and a vehicle inspection is required. In both conversations, the sales rep. told me they sell vehicles to customers in states that require an inspection and the vehicle would be fully inspected prior to purchase. Based on this information, I traveled to Autos Direct Online on October 24, 2012 to test drive the 2006 Buick Lacrosse, I discussed the requirements for a PA inspection with the sales person. They stated the vehicle would be inspected prior to purchase & any issues would be fixed. I asked if the vehicle would pass PA inspection, and they assured me the mechanics at Autos Direct Online would fully inspect the 2006 Buick and it would pass PA inspection. Based their assurance the vehicle would be inspected properly, I agreed to put down a $500 deposit & return within a week to purchase the vehicle. On October 29, I returned to Autos Direct Online to purchase the car. At that time, they confirmed the vehicle went through a full inspection. I again asked if the vehicle would pass a PA inspection, and they said “yes”. I purchased the vehicle & drove it to PA. On Wednesday, November 28, 2012, I received the title for vehicle & transferred it into my name. On December 01, 2012, a local service garage completed the PA inspection & found several issues w/ estimated repairs of $486.59. Autos Direct Online is responsible for the repairs because either their mechanic failed to inspect the vehicle or the sales person falsely represented the condition of the car by stating it would pass a PA inspection. I spoke w/ a sales representative at Autos Direct Online via web chat & sent an e-mail with the repair estimate. No response. I was forced to go through the Better Business Bureau. Please note that Autos Direct Online offered me $100 to post a positive review on this site. They even provided a print out with instructions. Obviously, I am VERY dissatisfied with this dealer and their response to my complaint. More
I had a very hard time getting any kind of a reply through email, they wre all very vague andbever answered my questons. When I finally called in I spoke with a lady that sounded not so busy and had t through email, they wre all very vague andbever answered my questons. When I finally called in I spoke with a lady that sounded not so busy and had that "hey we dont really need your business bu what can i do for ya" attitude. I almost felt like SHE was the customer and I was having to meet HER needs. ILong story shory, all three cars I was iterested in already sold in the three weeks of trying to set up an appt to look at them and having a non user-friendly computer chat/email service so it wasn't a good experience for me. The 3-4 thousand less than bookvalue she offered me over the phone for a trade in was kind of disgusting as well and when I asked her about the figure she pretty much told me she had to go and that car sold as well... Really? It hadn't thirty minutes ago when I first called you and you took my info for trade in??? No thanks, this place is way to busy and non personal for me! More
I recently bought a 2010 Cadillac CTS-V from Autos Direct Online and the process couldn't have been any easier. My vehicle was accurately described to me by my sales associate Dan McIntyre prior to my arriva Online and the process couldn't have been any easier. My vehicle was accurately described to me by my sales associate Dan McIntyre prior to my arrival to ensure accuracy and they trusted me like an old friend to take the car for a spin and have it inspected. That is great service considering that this is a $72,000 car. This is what makes me always come back and buy from them. This is the third car I have bought from them and it wont be the last. Trust me they are worth your time to try out, you won't be sorry! More
