When I went to test drive the car it was loud, and the heat did not work. I thought OMG!! This is not what I expected... But after consulting with Juan he assured me that he would fix the car and have it ready for me the next day. The car is pretty clean and I love the color (deep cranberry pearl) so I took him up on the offer. today I can say that I'm so glad that I bought the car and it runs very well. I have already recommended Autos Direct Online to several people who saw my new car, and wants to buy a car of their own. More

When I purchased this car on a Thursday, I wanted to come up on Saturday and pickup the car because of my schedule. I was told by Dan Caldwell that they had a company policy in which every car went through up on Saturday and pickup the car because of my schedule. I was told by Dan Caldwell that they had a company policy in which every car went through a 3 day post inspection and if they found the car needed brakes, rotors, or anything else they would be replaced. When I called a few days later to see if they were done, I was told they wanted to keep it another 2 days to do a complete tune-up. I finally arrived on the following Thursday. Dan told me they replaced all the plugs and not just the one that had been misfiring. I drove the car back to North Carolina and by the following day, the engine light came on. I took it to my mechanic and he told me the core was misfiring because the screws that hold the valve cover to keep water from getting the core wet, had been stripped out. That cost me $127 to fix that. By the weekend, the engine light was on again, and this time it was an EVAP leak which he also fixed at a cost of $220. My mechanic informed me however that the brakes on the rear where nearly metal on metal and would need to be replaced, the bearings on the rear wheels were screaming and needed attention, and the front rotor was warped and he would put that on a machine and fix it. While I'm aware that things happen that can be unexpected, any good mechanic who was doing a 3 day post inspection would have been able to tell that the brakes on the rear needed replacing as well as the bearings when they test drove it and they would have noticed the slight vibration in the front with regards to the rotors. I also noticed that the rear panel behind the passenger seat comes off. It was obviously secured enough not to notice it at first, but now it falls off. More

CAUTION: First off be aware the staff are leaving their own feedback on this site. Secondly my suggestion is to stay far, far away from these crooks. Julie is by far the worst sales liar I have ever deal own feedback on this site. Secondly my suggestion is to stay far, far away from these crooks. Julie is by far the worst sales liar I have ever dealt with. She advertises the USED vehicles as perfect with no damage or problems. Then you get the vehicle with THOUSANDS of dollars worth of issues. Then of course coming from OHIO, you have to deal with the RUST. Yes there is ALOT of RUST on these vehicles. Even the low mileage vehicles have a lot of RUST. Also suspected of turning back the mileage on the lower mileage vehicles. I can go on and on about the issues I dealt with but I dont have days to warn you. Just stay away from these crooks. Even if you igonore my warnings and still want to purchase from them, stay away from Julie Turner. She attempted to sell me the vehicle for more than their asking price. Then I seen it on Ebay and addressed the issue with her. She blamed me for confusing her with the price. That alone should have been my first clue. They misteriously dropped off the face of the earth after the sell. Now they dont respond to any of my emails. Oh well at least I have the internet to warn others. And considering I work on the computer all day long for 12 hours straight, I have nothing more to do than warn others. More
I bought a car from them on eBay. The first sign was that they don't have the title before listing the car for sale. I went to pick up the car (after weeks of waiting), I was given a car with an empty gas ta they don't have the title before listing the car for sale. I went to pick up the car (after weeks of waiting), I was given a car with an empty gas tank with the following options: (a) leave a positive feedback on eBay for them or (b) push the car to the nearest gas station, after taking my payment from me. I left the feedback (as dictated to me), on the way home with the car, liner was falling on me, and I almost lost control of the car. I got home, couldn't lock the car. I called Autos Direct Online and never got a call back. Advice: If you buy a car from them, go with at least 3 liters of gasoline. More
I purchased a 2006 Mini Cooper S from Autos Direct Online. I worked with Julie. I first saw the car on Ebay. Initially I saw a nice little car with a very good price tag. As I worked with Julie the in Online. I worked with Julie. I first saw the car on Ebay. Initially I saw a nice little car with a very good price tag. As I worked with Julie the initial process was pretty easy. We simply put a down payment on the car and then arranged to get the finances worked out. This is where things begin to go downhill. I put the deposit down just before New Years and they have a policy about paying in full in 7 days but there was the holiday in there, I was going to have to have the car transported and I wanted to have the car inspected by a third party. So they asked me for a second $500. OK fine. When I suggested having an outside inspector look at it, on advertised by Ebay, Julie told me they were not worth the money and she would do a walk through of the car with me. I was not sure what that meant until the next day when she called me from the facility where the car was and then walked around the car and looked at everything reporting stuff to me. A small rip in the door panel, a small paint chip, a piece missing from the arm rest. She had the rip and armrest fixed. She then took the car out for a drive with me on the phone letting me hear it as best I could over the phone and she said it was in fantastic condition. She did remind me it was a used car so it was not pristine which I knew and did not expect. I asked her if the car had cruise control as it stated in the ad but it did not look like it in the picture. She told me it did not and the ad was wrong. She seemed very honest and upfront. Regardless, however, I told her I wanted a third party to look at it as I could not inspect it myself. She recommended an auto repair shop down the street from them. I called and spoke to them and they seemed OK. Besides they are a AAA shop and the last thing they need is complaints to AAA. So The woman at the shop set an appointment for the Monday after New Years and said to let Julie know and it would be taken care of. Wednesday rolled around and I had not heard anything so I called the shop. The car was never brought over. I called Julie and she was going to bring it over that day. Mind you this was eating into my 7 days. When they finished the inspection they asked to fax me the report. I did not have access to a fax machine so they took my credit card number and said they would send the report back with the car but it was mostly minor stuff and the biggest thing was a broken oil dipstick. Why this shop can not email the report is beyond me but that has nothing to do with Autos Direct Online. But what does have to do with them was I got a Fax number at my mother's office. Both my mother and I called Julie, with no return call, requesting she fax the report. AT this point I had invested in 2 weeks of a rental car, airline tickets to go pick the car up, and a $1000 deposit. This is where things go relatively bad. A friend and I fly up to get the car, we arrive and they kindly picked us up from the airport. When I first saw the car something immediately jumped out at me....the black had completely worn off the Mini Emblems on the hood and trunk. The pictures they posted on their website distinctly shows the emblems in good condition and on further examination you can see the photos were doctored...false advertising and dare I say fraud (I have saved the pictures) ...next I looked at the inspection report. The front tires were bald and cupped, the left side view mirror was broken, there was a hole in the muffler, the trunk lifts were non functional, and of course the broken dipstick. I asked why she had not faxed the report and she said she had. I don't know of a fax machine that does not report if a fax has been sent successfully or not when it is done but we never received a fax of the report and this was the first I saw of it. The dip stick had been replaced as I was told and the car was not loud so I believe there was no way they could or should have known about the hole in the muffler, however I was never told about the bad tires or the broken mirror and when I asked Julie about them she said "we don't do tires" and if I wanted I could go down the street and buy a used tire and the mirror may very well be broken since it is a used car. Now mind you Julie drove this car during her walk through with me, she tested out everything down to the radio and cigarette lighter. I don't know anyone that drives a car that they don't normally drive and doesn't immediately adjust the mirrors, or notice it while she was driving or testing everything. Yet nothing was said. She told me several times she got into the business and if she was going to do it was going to be honestly, she lost her credibility with me. I probably would have walked out if I did not have so much invested in it. Next I took it for a test drive and I noticed there was no gas in it. I asked about having it filled up and was told "they don't do gas" I have never bought a car from any dealership of any kind where you left the lot without a full tank. In fact when I did fill it up I must have been lucky to make it to the gas station because it took the entire tank capacity. I had not counted on this expense. At that point they offered me a $50 gift card if I would do an 8 second testimonial. Figuring I could get the card for gas I did it. In retrospect it was probably not a good idea, especially when I found out they mail you the card. I was terribly disheartened at this point, which was unfortunate because I was so looking forward to getting this car. I always wanted a Mini and thought I found a gem only to find all these things wrong. What bothered me most was the fraudulent pictures on the web of the emblems and it ate at me all the way home. What else did they lie about or not tell me, obviously the mirror, tires and trunk lifts should have been obvious. Julie complained that people come in thinking they are getting new cars when they are buying used and that she thought they needed to be realistic. I agree and I knew I was buying a used car and knew it was not going to be perfect and might have some "minor" things that needed some attention. The problem was I was told by Julie what great shape it was in and no one told me what actually was wrong with it and I never got the report so that was useless. If you expect people to have realistic expectations you need to be honest about what they are buying. Saying a car is used does not cover the gamut of what can be wrong. The truth is, had I been told about the issues I would have priced out the parts and decided what to do and would in all likelihood still bought the car.The car was still priced very well. I may have asked them to do the tires and mirror for me since I had to drive it back to NC but the other stuff would have been fine. Even the emblems, if they showed me the actual emblems it would have been fine, again, I know its a used car. If they didn't want to do any repairs we could have probably negotiated something and I would have left happy and very pleased with my experience. Instead I was upset and disappointed for days until I got the tires and mirror fixed. And it didn't even cost very much money. Its a shame they choose to do business this way. They do sell cars at good prices and now I am very happy with my little car but they made my buying experience awful because they were not honest with me. I would not recommend buying from them at this point unless you can go look at the car yourself or they change their sales tactics. More

I worked with a great salesperson, Julie Turner, who went out of her way to make sure my car buying experience was exceptional. She worked with me to get the exact outcome I was hoping for. The price was wonderful and the process was fairly painless; However, I would look over your Bill of Sale and make sure it is accurate. They tried to charge us sales tax twice. After an Hour and a half explaining over the phone, they realized that they did charge us the sales tax it just was not on the Bill Of Sale in the appropriate place. It was resolved and they apologized for the oversight. Nonetheless, it was very frustrating explaining simple math. I do plan on buying cars in the future from Autos Direct Online they have a great inventory and fantastic prices! Overall, I am very happy with my purchase...Thank you Autos Direct Online More
