A man by the name of Andres introduced himself, asked if I had any questions, then went inside and said if I was interested in anything new or used to go inside and talk to him. I lived it because there is nothing worse than a pushy sales person. Andres was extremely pleasant and helpful. He didn't try to persuade me into buying the car. Walked out with a great deal and brand new Sentra! More
SHADY AND DISHONEST SALESPERSON AND SALES MANAGER Summary: We were very specific with the salesperson, Emil about the terms of the deal we negotiated for my son, on a 2017 Rogue SV. The lease was ne Summary: We were very specific with the salesperson, Emil about the terms of the deal we negotiated for my son, on a 2017 Rogue SV. The lease was negotiated over the three days during the Memorial Day weekend, with a typical back and forth, until both parties agreed on the deal. When we showed at the dealership, Emil and his sales manager. Kevin Pinedo, shamelessly refused to honor the deal, asked for more money and tried to play 'word games' with us. But you should read the whole review. First of all, I am an experienced car lessee and have leased over 15 vehicles over the past 25 years for our family, so yes I know how leases work and structured. I am also in finance and have been a sales manager for 25 years. After we agreed on the price, I requested the terms of the deal in writing, which Emil didn't want to provide. His reason to NOT provide the terms of the deal in writing was that he didn't want us to 'shop' the deal, but he is an "honorable guy, and he is always black and white when dealing with customers", implying that we should just trust him. He did not provide the terms in writing even after we gave him a credit card to secure a deposit. While finding this unprofessional and somewhat suspect, I decided to stay with the deal, because I am an honorable guy and I wanted to give our business to Emil, despite having another dealer match the deal terms. Before heading out to the dealership, I had my son call him to make sure the car will be ready and in response, Emil wanted to go over the terms of the deal again, and said "They are giving me a hard time" which is not something you want to hear when you are ready to pick up a car and already left a deposit on it. We still proceeded to the dealership. After making us wait about 10 minutes ( what business makes their customers wait when we arrived at the agreed upon time and told hem we are on the way), Emil came out to let us know that they made a mistake, building a lease on a 12k miles instead of 20k. This made very little sense to me since we probably spend a lot of time explaining why we need 20k and even asked to see if we could get 25k miles. Knowing that its not a typical mileage request I made sure to discuss it upfront and numerous times. I question how a salesperson or sales manager can make a mistake like that. His solution was to tell us that the inception fees that we also discussed very specifically, didn't include the first month payment and it would be in addition to all inception fees we negotiated. It was clear that he was covering for the mistake and was just trying to pull a fast one on us. The sales manager, Kevin Pinedo, tried to tell me that inception fees do not include the first payment, which he knew is not true. I am not a first time lessee, and even called a dealer from whom I just leased another vehicle who confirmed that when one refers to inception fees they always include first month's payment in addition to doc and bank fees, and a few other random fees. In any case, Emil was very specific what would be the total out of pocket upfront and they shamelessly asked for additional money upfront. It was clear that they gave us a very aggressive deal to get us into the dealership, either because of miscommunication on their end or because such unethical business practice is tolerated by the AUTOEASTERN NISSAN GROUP, baiting a customer in and then changing the terms of the deal. Whats even more incredible, the sales manager refused to honor the original deal, even after I told him that the reputation of NISSAN AUTOEASTERN GROUP is worth a lot more than $250, as I am sure this review will definitely create more $250 in damage to the brand of this dealership than what they saved. Yup, it was all about only $250...I hope the senior management/ownership of this dealership understands how poorly the sales manager handled the situation. He basically said that he didn't care and walked off, knowing that I would make this information public. In the end we got the car that we wanted at a price that we wanted at Nissan of Hawthorne. The salesperson Gary Thompson is a pro and handled the transaction without any issues as one would expect from a professionally run operation and not a place that allows unethical and shady business practices likes AUTO EASTERN in Paramus. I would also never shop at several other locations that they operate. More

I've never met a more lazy individual in my life. It was like pulling teeth to get him to check his inventory. In fact, we were leaving when the manager stopped me to assist me, forcing Scott to actually work. They wasted an entire day by not being forthcoming about the warranty on the car, or lack thereof. It wasn't until Anthony, the finance manager in Paramus, told us we did not have a bumper to bumper warranty on the car at 9:30 pm. This is NOT what we had discussed earlier that day. Scott also made us call our own car insurance to verify and change things- (before we walked away from the deal) he couldn't be bothered to do that for us. I am thankful for Anthony's honesty but appalled at how we were treated in Hackensack by Scott. Knowing they made a mistake they should have fixed this or worked something out. They did nothing to make it right and could have cared less and I blame the manager for that. We got a better deal at Ramsey Nissan- take your business there. More

However, since my husband couldn't come for another few days to test drive it they convinced me to leave a 100% refundable deposit to hold the car. I agreed and after 2 days, let them know that we decided to stay with out own minivan and asked for my deposit back. They said the only way to get it back is to return with my credit card. I live over 45 minutes away, have two children and asked to provide the cc information over the phone to enter manually and they claim it cannot be done. I work in the service industry and know that's a lie. They want me in, but my circumstance makes it extremely difficult. I even reached out to their customer service person Denise and she agreed to try to help... all friendly and accommodating upon my request, but never heard from her again even after 3 additional emails asking the status. NOTHING. Unless they have the exact car and price you want, don't waste your time with them. More
