My Volvo was recalled for airbag replacement, the appointment was 6 weeks out and supposed to take 1 hour. I sat in the waiting room for 2 hours. In that 2 hours I entertained myself with a game on appointment was 6 weeks out and supposed to take 1 hour. I sat in the waiting room for 2 hours. In that 2 hours I entertained myself with a game on my iPad, and looked at the new Volvo's - peered in the windows and admired them. My husband has been wanting to buy me a new Volvo, but not 1 salesperson approached me to ask if I had questions or if they could help me in any way. Not 1 person had eye contact with me and I wasn't going to beg. I had 2 hours of total silence. It was like sitting in a morgue. There was no personality or friendliness in the entire place. The service person was polite, but not terribly friendly - she was just doing her job. I cannot say what the quality of work was - I cannot tell if there is a new air bag or not. As far as sanitizing my vehicle - my guess is they didn't do anything because there was no fragrance or any indication that it had been sanitized . The sales department did not want to talk to me, so I have no idea about pricing. More
At purchasing at the end of the lease they pocketed twice the purchase fee + taxes, some $400. Do not purchase a car from this dealership. I purchased a car in April of this year I have still not received the registration and license plates for that car, it is now October, I have called the dealership car in April of this year I have still not received the registration and license plates for that car, it is now October, I have called the dealership repeatedly to be told multiple times just be patient the DMV is running behind. I finally went to the DMV at the end of September to be told that they have not received any paperwork from the dealership at all. Therefore, they cannot issue registration or license plates. I have called the dealership multiple times since then, the finance department does not have the decency or courtesy to return a phone call. Some 10 days later I still do not have any answer as to why the paperwork has not been processed. Update; 2 days after finally speaking to someone at the dealership, they have admitted not sending the paperwork to the DMV since April and despite me going to the dealership 4 times over the last 3 months nobody followed through on my concerns and never even checked on the issue. I was just given lipservice. Just be aware that's how this dealership works! Buyer Beware! More
All of the mail that I received about the recall that needed to be corrected came from AutoNation. The building has Volvo on the side. No street address and no AutoNation. That confused me.
