The salesman was very polite, drove with us in several similar models, and I finally decided on one I liked. We went into the office to discuss price, but the salesman refused to give us an "out-the-door" price, or even estimate!! He continually repeated "Our financial rep is the only one with that knowledge." Feeling like the wool was being pulled over our eyes, we left. Several days later, after looking at cars from other dealers, the price of this one brought us back. The salesman we received this time, Gus, was fantastic. He was very kind, genuine, and concerned with our happiness. In fact, on our way out the door, he came over and checked up to see how things had gone. He was very thorough and just a fantastic guy. Anyway, after driving the car once more, I was still sold, and this time decided to go ahead and meet with the finance rep. While waiting, we saw a picture frame leaning against the wall that said they had a $299 documentation fee that was not state mandated. So I went into the financer's office thinking there was going to be a $299 fee, and was totally okay with that. The financer was polite, and got right to signing documents. However, he didn't even mention numbers once until all the paperwork was signed, except the one actually purchasing the car. Once we got to that point, he glanced over the extra fees, not even mentioning there was also a $499 transportation fee. Luckily, I have always been one to triple check documents before signing and noticed that not only was there one, but TWO $499 fees - one was a document fee and the other was the transportation fee. I was shocked, because that added an extra $1,000 to the final price. So here, I had applied for loans and arranged my finances based on a $13,000 car (plus taxes and registration), and the end out the door price was $15,800 - WELL over the Kelley Blue Book fair purchase price. I mentioned the sign I had seen in the lobby, and even retrieved it for him to prove the $299 fee that had been advertised. He was shocked, and immediately hid it beneath his desk, stating that it was an old policy. The finance officer refused to wave or even lower either of the fees, stating that it was "company policy" and nothing could be done about it. He also refused to let us speak to a general manager or shift manager, or even the company owner. Being a business owner myself, I would like to speak to an unhappy customer to see what I could do to remedy the problem rather than lose their business. He continually said that every car had the same fee attached to it, regardless of what the actual shipping cost was. The whole experience seemed very shady, and we left, not knowing what other hidden surprises we might find. On the way out the door, after telling Gus of our experience, he said that there were some cars that didn't have the fee attached because of where they were purchased, and he would be happy to show us some of those models. That was the final red flag, because the financer had told us the exact opposite. On the way home, I called several other used car dealerships in the area, and most of them said all their fees are included in the sticker price and the only add-on would be tax, license, and registration, with the exception of one dealer that told us they had a $279 doc fee. I left feeling very taken advantage of and not confident in this company's integrity. I will not be returning there with my money any time soon. More
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! BUYER BEWARE~ I can't even begin to describe how horrible of an experience we had at this dealership. We test drove a 2012 Cruze and during the test BUYER BEWARE~ I can't even begin to describe how horrible of an experience we had at this dealership. We test drove a 2012 Cruze and during the test drive we specifically asked the sales person GUS if the car was a rental or lease return, he specifically said lease return. So after test driving a 2011 we decided to go with the 2012. Because the banks were closed we signed a promissory note with a date the funds were due. Upon bringing the car home, we found out that it had serious alignment issues and Utah Auto Experts tried to cover that up by putting directional tires on backwards to show the tread was not worn. We also found out the car had an accident and that it was not a lease return but a rental. We called them first thing the next morning and it got even worse from there. We met with William and he understood how frustrated we were and tried to remedy the situation by working with us to get a different vehicle but his boss Diego would have no part of it. He wouldn't even conference call with us and William said that he couldn't just call his boss when customers were in the office (it was all very shady). As we sat there trying to come up with a solution if was more and more evident how horrible of a boss Diego was. They basically strong armed us into buying a car that if we didn't take the car and get the financing they would put a voluntary repo on our credit. They easily could have put the car back out on the lot and moved on, all parties out nothing and one less horrible review on Google. Diego said because of "company policy" they could not put the car back on the lot and had to send it to auction. We ended up leaving the car there and contacting an attorney who said we had a good claim of misrepresentation and fraud. I am telling you if you read this review do yourself a huge favor and don't even bother, but if you still don't believe me this is the wrong place to shop, I will list additional reasons. -The price of the car that they advertise is not true, you need to automatically add 1000.00 dollars 500.00 dollars for a delivery fee and 500.00 for a documentation fee -they do not do any in house maintenance, so when you accept the car "as is" (if you are stupid enough to go and look at cars there) have them put in writing that you are going to have it inspected by a mechanic and give yourself an out when you find out all the problems with it -They hide behind "my English is not that good" -If customer service is so important to them why wouldn't Diego try and remedy the situation when he first new we were having issues, instead of threatening us with Voluntary repossession. Another amazing experience!!! Gus has now officially sold us 3 cars in the past 2 years. Every single time it's been an absolute amazing experience. We have recommended to everyone Gus has now officially sold us 3 cars in the past 2 years. Every single time it's been an absolute amazing experience. We have recommended to everyone we know and continue to be impressed on how he goes above and beyond for us. This experience has been no exception. We had another car we were considering however we didn't like it as much as the one we ended up selecting. The biggest difference was that we really wanted a DVD entertainment system for the back. To sweeten the deal on the car we really wanted they threw one in for us for their cost. We never feel pressured and always know we are talking with someone we can trust. We will continue to be loyal customers for years to come. Thanks Gus...you did it again! More

They went above and boyond to make me satisfied with my purchased. I loved their business concept of having the best price possible to the customer with a good customer service, not just looking to make a sale but looking to build a long term relationship and having a customer for life. Terrible Experience I trusted the reviews on here and went against my better judgment, and instead of being “treated like family” I feel stupid for giving these shady guy I trusted the reviews on here and went against my better judgment, and instead of being “treated like family” I feel stupid for giving these shady guys my hard earned money. My first draft of this review was over three pages long of all the crap Diego and Tiago put me through. I felt that it’d be more appropriate to keep it short. Car: Ford Fusion They gave me a fake car fax report and told me the car had never been in an accident. I began having vehicle issues within 2 weeks of purchase; that’s when I paid for my own Carfax and found out theirs was fake. When confronting the two with my issues they didn’t return my calls, and when I visited they were more interested in getting me off their lot than helping me out. I tried to get Auto Experts to buy the car back at the price I paid (car had about additional 800 miles driven on it from purchase) and I’d put it toward another car on the lot. They instead gave me an offer that was 1.5K lower than what a Honda dealership offered to pay without having to buy another car. Diego put the cherry on top of the whole debacle saying that with all the time he spent on me, he could had sold 3 cars to other people and that I was too difficult of a customer. Yep, these guys were awful. I ended up cutting my losses and buying a new car. Side Note: Found out Auto Experts of Utah registered the car I bought from them with the wrong VIN. So happy I didn’t keep the piece of junk they sold me and am done dealing with them. More
