Poor customer service, inflated quotes including unneeded service, and what I later find out - I paid for an oil change that my new mechanic says was likely never done. The same management team is also in charge of Audi of Smithtown as well so I wouldn't go there either. I purchased an A6 here and it was a good experience. I thought I would try the service department as well. I brought my 2010 Audi Q7 TDI on 9/23/16 for both an 85,000 mile service and a check on my MMI system because the audio had gone out. I was very impressed with the facilities. This impression started to change with the check in process as it took about an hour get paperwork done and out of the building. By 5:45pm that day I realize they never heard back from my service rep Kevin so I called to see the status of my truck. Kevin told me to keep the loaner car over the weekend because they didn't have time to find the cause of the MMI problem. Monday 9/26 at 5:45 PM I still have not heard back from Kevin so I called again and Kevin told me they were working on the problem but they were not yet complete on the reason for the MMI issue. He did say that a module (?) was out and would have to be replaced. He went on to say that this module would cost $**** to replace and that may not be the final solution to MMI issue. He went on to say that I may also need a control panel that would cost another $700+ in case the initial work was not enough to fix the MMI issue. He was saying that more time was needed to see if the problem was caused by a leak or by some other reason. I told Kevin that I needed some time to make a decision especially when the initial $**** may not be enough to fix the issue. I asked him to send me an invoice detailing the work that needed to be done so I can look into this and see if it's worth my while as I like to research situations like this to make sure I'm making the best decision for me. The next day after yet another follow up call to Kevin I finally received the following email below which includes my responses to him: Sep 27, 2016 Kevin B wrote Here is the break down of the repairs. Labor: $*** Parts: $ *** Possible addition part, control panel: $*** Thanks, Kevin B. Sep 27, 2016 Kevin this is what we had discussed yesterday. I am looking for something with specific detail. I usually got these quotes on letterhead from the other dealer. Please forward this as soon as you have a chance. Thanks, Guy G Sep 28, 2016 Along with what I mentioned in my prior email, please include quotes on any other services as well. Thank you again, Guy G I never got this. The service manager Mark said he would get back to me but I did not hear from him that day, 9/30, 10/8, or 10/10. I almost missed a flight waiting for them to return my car to me as they were very late for the scheduled return. Finally on 10/11 Mark called to say that the problem was not something that his service department caused; it was something that was wrong with my car from the start. My frustration is an all time high due to bad customer service and now incompetent work, along with a car that did not work as well as it did when I dropped it off to Audi of Huntington. Mark said there was nothing that could be done. I left a message for the general manager at Audi of Huntington but I have not heard back from him. The least they should have done was restore to the condition it was in when I brought it there. I also deserve my diagnostic charge refunded. The oil change/service that seems to have not happened should be refunded as well. I did get my MMI system fixed elsewhere quickly and easily. It was not according to the diagnosis from Audi, AND it was much less than Audi's quote. More

The entire process was 2 hours first day with a test drive and pickup next day for about 1.5 hours. He also told me that he could further help in explaining my vehicles functionality after driving it a while. More

After looking at reviews Audi dealers in the TriState area, she found many positive reviews about Audi of Huntington. Additionally, she found great reviews about salesperson Tooba Umar. She called and scheduled an appt for 2 days later at 10am. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a friendly receptionist. I announced myself and Tooba promptly came over and introduced herself. She had keys in hand and within less than 5 min, I was test driving the the car I requested. Tooba directed me towards some nice roads that allowed me to experience a true driver's car. Tooba is well versed with the Audi brand. She was able to discuss, in detail, the nuances of the car. The discussion about horsepower was particularly enjoyable. Gotta love a sales person that knows cars and loves to drive. Upon returning to the dealership, I wanted a specific exterior color and interior color. After a some research, Tooba located the car with the options I requested. After some number crunching, Peter Turano, her manager joined us. In less than 90 minutes, thanks to Peter, I was able to purchase my new car. The positive experience that I received from Tooba and Peter will bring me back to Audi of Huntington. Thank You. More
