My recent experience working with Audi Dominion service was easily the worst experience I have ever had at a car dealership and perhaps the most poorly handled situation I have ever experienced as a CONSUM was easily the worst experience I have ever had at a car dealership and perhaps the most poorly handled situation I have ever experienced as a CONSUMER of anything considering the costs at stake. From the service rep, who I would have been incredibly embarrassed by had I been her manager, who was not only ill-prepared and unprofessional, but she had complete lack of concern or care for her customer- me. Instead, she failed to follow up with critical information on suggested repairs for days after dropping the "$7,000" estimate figure. It took 4 days for me to receive a technician's video and written estimate. In the interim, the service rep had her sales department contact me after I explicitly told her I did NOT want to hear from anyone in sales. After declining to allow Audi Dominion lay another finger on my car, I was able to get a second opinion from a trusted local mechanic and the truth of what Audi Dominion was attempting to do to me became clear. Several of the repairs Audi Dominion was recommending were not necessary repairs for my vehicle in the short term. One may not even be or become a problem in the long term. After reviewing all of the information provided by Audi Dominion and the mechanic I trusted it is clear that I was being "gamed" by the personnel at Audi Dominion. I wrote a long, but respectful and polite email to the manager, Mojda. Her response did not come immediately, but in the interim I received a text message from another person with the dealership. Since I was having a difficult time getting anyone to show the slightest bit of interest in me, I decided to call the name of the person in the text. Of course, this manager doesn't answer her phone nor has voice mail. 2023 and a service manager doesn't offer voice mail to customers. Remarkable. Once I finally heard from Mojda, who I had been told was the manager of the of service rep that I worked with who was awful. I wasn't looking for anything from her. Frankly, we were long past the dealership being able to resolve or make this situation right. I simply wanted the courtesy and respect of speaking with a manager about my concerns. Mojda's email to me said she felt terrible about what I shared with her and that she "wanted to make it right". At that moment I actually chuckled, as I could see I was still working with people who were operating off of a script. But I went along with it because I really wanted to see how this situation was handled. We set up an appointment, a specific time that I had asked her to contact me and she agreed. It came as no surprise that her call never came at the appointed time. She called me several hours later when I was busy on a Friday evening. Probably by design. I never received the promised follow up from Mojda. No call. No text. No email. This whole process has been a total slap in the face. I was born in San Antonio and grew up with very positive impressions of the Cavender brand which I carried all these years until my experiences with their Audi dealership. Really disappointing. And I won't go quietly. Had the employee or manager shown the slightest bit of concern or shown me the slightest amount of respect, I might have chalked it up as a bad day. We all have them. But the truth of the matter is, and despite all of these 5-star reviews which are laughable considering we are talking about a car dealership, the people at Audi Dominion don't actually care about you as a customer. They are trained to aggressively and even deceptively detach you from your money. You should never forget that as you read these good reviews. And I was reminded of the sheer, naked greed and corruption that the auto industry still operates by. This whole experience can be summed up in one word - GROSS! More
From the first day when I bought the car at Audi Dominion and was encouraged to buy the extra warranty, I’ve been extraordinarily and even overwhelmingly pleased with this dealership - they’ve done so well i and was encouraged to buy the extra warranty, I’ve been extraordinarily and even overwhelmingly pleased with this dealership - they’ve done so well in all of my warranty issues - not only am I glad I bought the warranty, but my experience with their service department has enabled me to observe and be quietly amazed how Rick’s PEOPLE excel in every way … Consistently exceeding my expectations. Audi Dominion has such a tailored approach to their customer service that is greatly appreciated!
