Thank you for your review, Mr. Stone, and we certainly apologize for the confusion about the Audi RS7 that interested you. It is true we worked closely with you to negotiate the price of the vehicle under the pretenses the vehicle would qualify to be certified, as well as with the value of the vehicle you wished to trade. It is also true the vehicle was sent into the service department for its in-depth testing and inspections for the Audi certified pre-owned vehicle program upon your arrival to our dealership and purchase agreement was completed. You have spoken the truth that we provided transportation during your stay in San Antonio to allow adequate time for the certification process to be completed. True as well is that it wasn’t until the service repair order was written to perform the in-depth Audi Vehicle Certification testing and inspections that the performance chip was detected by the certification scan tool. This service repair order in the Audi system is what triggered the vehicle to be listed as a certified vehicle for 24 hours online, and has since been removed. In complete agreement with your review, and being as forthcoming with you as possible when the performance chip was detected, we relayed to you the chip would disqualify the vehicle from the Audi certified program. At the same time, however, offered an Audi extended service contract in place of the Audi certified warranty that would cover all included in the Audi certification and more, with the only exclusion being any issue that may develop with the direct cause being the performance chip. In attempting to help with the turn of events with the vehicle, both our General Manager and our Owner were more than happy to meet and speak with you to ensure you had multiple options to choose from if deciding to complete the purchase, and still make themselves available to you to help. Where we will agree to disagree with you is in your description of our General Manager’s and Owner’s discussions with you as being deceitful and having a lack of kindness and understanding. As Mr. Beer expressed, he and our owner had been made aware of the situation just prior to meeting with you and knew nothing about vehicle’s condition until our team notified him, and both whole-heartedly wished nothing more than to offer help to you; all contrary to your comments. Upon your dismissal of any and all assistance and options we provided, we did agree with you to part company. We are still here to help if you would like to take advantage of any of our offers. And if you may opt to shop elsewhere, as with any and all of our customers, we do thank you for the opportunity to serve your automotive needs, and wish you the best in finding a vehicle that meets you needs and wants.
