They could not fix a design flaw that allows water to enter the trunk when it rains and you lift the trunk . As I was driving to dinner one night, my 2010 Audi A4 started shaking. I pulled to the shoulder of the freeway and had to have the car towed, as it was not in a drivable state. I called the nearest Audi dealership, but they were very unhelpful! I then called Audi Calabasas (as I live in Calabasas) and the sales manager I spoke to reassured me I could have the tow truck drop the car at the dealership and the service department would check on the car first thing Monday morning. (It was already past 6 p.m. on a Saturday, so the service department was closed.) When I arrived at the dealership in Calabasas, I was greeted by a salesman who gave me his card and I left him my contact information and car keys. He also assured me the service department would inspect the car on Monday. On Monday morning, I called the service department and spoke to Rafael. I explained to him what happened to the car and authorized him to run a diagnostic test. Later that day, Rafael called to give me an update on my car. We talked through options of repairs and I told him I wanted to think about it overnight. The amount of repairs the car needed was more than I was willing to pay for a 13 year-old vehicle. The following morning, I reached out to Vonn Wilson, the salesman I met a few days before. I explained to him what was going on with my car and I thought it was best to get a new car. Vonn was amazing! I explained to him that I needed a car for work and gave him a list of what I was interested in. We discussed the options between leasing, buying new and buying used. He promptly went to work looking at inventory on the lot and current specials. He found some great options for me. I ended up leasing a new A5 and could not be more thrilled with my decision. Rafael and Vonn went above and beyond in a super stressful situation, that I was totally unprepared for. I am so grateful for their professionalism, helpfulness and kindness. More
