They have always been good to me. Have had many services there and they do a good job. The availability of loaners is usually good, not always. criminal dealership Congrats for doing great due diligence researching before you buy. This dealership is as unscrupulous as it gets. They have such high rating only because every salesperson solicits 5 star reviews from every single customer to hide the negative ones. I almost gave them a 5 star until I knew better. Their sales practice is fraudulent with classic bait and switch, and when discovered and confronted, the ONLY thing they do is reiterating their commitment to customer satisfaction. On 2/13/20, we went to Audi Bridgewater (SPJ Motors LLC) to buy a new 2019 Q7 and were misled into buying a $4000 cheaper one than what we thought we were buying. A salesperson named Sam Johnson showed us a more expensive premium plus and switched it to a cheaper premium se by telling us it's just different color, while removing the window sticker and hiding it from us throughout the purchase and delivery process. We made offer for a silver car that he said was available. He came back said it wasn't available anymore but a black one was. We thought it was the same premium plus so we didn't suspect anything . We only realized the fraud after we insisted and got Sam to email us the sticker the next day, which confirmed that the car we got was $4k cheaper than the one for which we made the offer. We would not have bought the car had we known we were buying a much cheaper one. Sam was initially responsive without offering anything concrete, but stopped responding when pressed to offer an actual plan to set things right. The general manager John Gomes was even better, he claimed he's ethical and makes every effort to make customers happy and then went silent. They are also holding our new car's primary car key (we only got one), license plates and registration hostage even though we have already paid in full for the car. It was blatant and remorseless fraud and violation of consumer rights. They also wrote in email that they remove window sticker normally whenever cleaning/prepping new cars for delivery, each time violating Federal Monroney Act where only buyer can remove the sticker. They refused to offered any apology much less make any attempt to make things right. It's no wonder Tesla is winning these days. How can traditional car manufacturers survive with this kind of blatantly criminal dealers? There will probably be a "person" responding to this. I won't be surprised it's a fictional character conjured by the dealer to fake the illusion that each complaint got addressed, and combined with some potentially fake 5 star reviews, you get the picture. I'll update this story as we go along. they will be hearing from the lawyer and court. update 2/28: after we went public with the story. we heard back from the general manager, the usual robotic mention of call or meet. to that we say: we already gave them all the facts, if they refused to do anything, how would meet/talk help? If they even respected their customers a little, why would they refuse to communicate via the medium that their customer has been using? More
