Very disappointed Went to the dealership for a passenger airbag recall, got my car back and one end of my glove box was broken. I have mentioned that to the staff, the Went to the dealership for a passenger airbag recall, got my car back and one end of my glove box was broken. I have mentioned that to the staff, the lady who claimed to be a manager told me " I know a lot about this cars, a lot of people had that glove box problem" Well I DID NOT HAVE A PROBLEM with the glove box untill I left the dealership after recall, the mechanic had noted that it was broken, IT WASNT, it WAS working properly. Unfortunately those people have hard time understanding what is working properly means. When I ask for the manager, the lady with blonde hair told me she was. WELL, she was not since AUDI USA had confirmed to me that the general manager is Paul Williams. I have yet to hear back from him. They have tried to sell me a glove box for 661 dollars which they have broken?? no way. When I asked for a part that the mechanic had broke, the lady who claimed to be a manager told me " I dont know, they cleaned your car, it might be in a vacuum". The glove box was not broken, just because the mechanic damaged it during the airbag removal and made a note, doesn't mean that it was broken, it was working properly. Tried to contact general managers, nobody answered, left voicemail, no call back. Later on, the same service manager call me and tells me that they will give me 10 percent discount if a buy the glove box from them! what a joke, then she told me " Ok we are done with this", I said "we are not", she said " yes we are". No we are not, who are you to tell me something like that? you are working for me since Im the customer, your mechanic broke the glove box, fix it. She told me that she knew the previous owner, and that he had that issue. Little did she know, I have contacted the previous owner minutes after our conversation, and he told me that the glove box was functioning properly and that the service manager is wrong, I knew it all along just wanted to double check if she makes up the story, turns out she does. Moreover, I did not get my receipt for the service that they have done, how is that? is that professional?. I will not back off from this issue just because someone who has lack of knowledge and professionalism in MANAGEMENT told me that " we are done". Oh no we are not. The only person that Im done communicating with is the service manager, since it pointless and a waste of my precious time. I want to talk with someone from the upper management, hopefully they can handle my case in a appropriate manner. More
Poor integrity from the salesperson I would use any other Audi dealership for purchasing your car than this one. They do not deliver on promises and terms of an agreement. They try to scam customers I intended to by an used A8L at &38,000 and they didn't find appropriate to disclose that the car had some components of the body repainted. The sales I intended to by an used A8L at &38,000 and they didn't find appropriate to disclose that the car had some components of the body repainted. The sales person almost started to argue with me that just damage on the frame or accidents should be disclosed. So they thought that;s normal to misguide the customer (me) to buy it and risk that in few weeks the paint to peel. I think also that they knew about it because of the arguing and the price was initial &48,000. Shame on you Audi of Birmingham! More
$eriously? $187.64 for a oil change! Fred Laverey Audi of Birmingham you should be ashamed. $187.64 is just short of double what it cost last year to change the $187.64 for a oil change! Fred Laverey Audi of Birmingham you should be ashamed. $187.64 is just short of double what it cost last year to change the oil in my Audi TT. Just short of double what Audi of Rochester Hills charges. I accept the premium charges of maintaining a German car but this was shameless exploitation. I have been looking into trading my VW CC in for a Audi A4 and you have saved me the trouble of shopping your dealership. More
Terrible--Not Trustworthy If I could give negative stars I would, but I was forced to give 1 star for this to post--My family's experience was AWFUL-They treated my young son v If I could give negative stars I would, but I was forced to give 1 star for this to post--My family's experience was AWFUL-They treated my young son very poorly. My son had just paid Lavery $1,200 a month ago for service and when his car died out on the expressway he had it towed back there. The estimate was another 1300 bucks, so we called around for comparison and found a reputable place that would do the same work for less than HALF!!! OUTRAGEOUS price -GOUGING. The next day when we showed up with a tow truck to move the car to a another service provider, Lavery sent us on wild goose chase to their S. Adams Rd location where they said they had moved the car without our permission for service. When we arrived at that location my son's car was parked out in an unsecured strip mall parking lot, unlocked, hood up, windows down on a rainy day. The interior was in total disarray like someone had rummaged through it and small engine parts were laying on the passengers seat. We had arrived there really early with the tow truck so perhaps they had left the car sitting out there open like that all night??Absolutely inexcusable treatment of an unsuspecting young person--Shame on you Fred Lavery! I should have read all the negative reviews on this dealership before I visited. More
Exorbitant quotes for two simple jobs. Lavery ? Never again When I took my 2007 Audi Q7 in to the Fred Lavery service center in Birmingham MI three weeks ago for a 115,000 miles service I was advised that I sho When I took my 2007 Audi Q7 in to the Fred Lavery service center in Birmingham MI three weeks ago for a 115,000 miles service I was advised that I should also have the brakes bled as it was three years when they were last bled at around 74,000 miles. I agreed . I also asked them to check on and quote for me on the TPMS light which stayed on continously despite the tire pressures being correct and properly input into the system. After the service was started I was informed that " there was a gel-like substance in the brake reservoir and that this had to be removed to avoid brake failure ", At this stage I was told that they might not be ale to remove all of the gel and that they might have to " replace all of the hydraulic components of the brake system " On asking them what caused this gel, they did not know but thought that some contaminant made its way in to the system or that the wrong brake fluid had been used in the past " I reminded them that they were the ones who had serviced and bled the brake system since the car was new. I got no response to that. In any case they said they would try hard to flush out the gel . However, after about 45 minutes I was told that " nothing was coming out of the calipers and that the system was clogged " They duly closed the xxxxxxx but advised me that I should consider replacing the hydraulics as mentioned above , but until I did that " the brakes could fail. I duly asked for a quote for the job and was given a detailed quote for $8,715.26, made up of $4,845.26 for parts and $.3,870.00 for labor. At the same time they gave me a quote of $1,245.94 to replace all tire sensors and the rear antenna to repair the TPMS system. Needless to say I walked away. The following day I took the vehicle to the Audi service center at Dequindre in Rochester Hills. They confirmed that the brake system was indeed contaminated and could not understand how this could have happened unless the wrong fluid had been used in the past. However, they said that they would take care of it although it might take a few hours, rather than the usual one hour to bleed a system. Audi Rochester Hills duly managed to power-flush the system completely, for which I paid $600 for the 5 hours of labor and several gallons of cleansing fluid that was necessary to remove the gel. I did not ask Audi Rochester Hills to address the TPMS light as it was not really a safety issue. However, I have since driven to sunny Florida for my winter get-a-way and asked the Crown Audi Service Center on Hwy 19 North, Clearwater, to address the TPMS system. They duly did, for $ 304.13. Overall, I saved $9,056.07 by not having Fred Lavery do these two simple jobs. Needless to say, I will never again grace Lavery's premises, either for a new vehicle or for service. More
The worst dealership in Michigan This dealership has one thing going for it, location. If it wasn't in a location surrounded by wealthy people who could care less about anything but g This dealership has one thing going for it, location. If it wasn't in a location surrounded by wealthy people who could care less about anything but getting their 100k car and being on their way, this place would be shut in a heartbeat. I'm one of those who buys nice cars but I demand respect and good service when it is required. This dealership is absolutely terrible in the way they treat their customers. The guys selling the cars think they can actually afford them and talk down to you like a peasant when your the one about to drop 70-160k on a car. The people in the service department think you know nothing about the car and won't take your opinions into consideration. Not only that but they look for any reason not to repair your car under warranty so they can make a quick dollar. Do yourselves a favor and go to any Audi dealership but this one. More
