Dishonest Service and unprofessional Secretary I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION. I had my Audi A6 3.0T for two years no problems, to the point where a couple weeks ago they asked to buy it back cuz I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION. I had my Audi A6 3.0T for two years no problems, to the point where a couple weeks ago they asked to buy it back cuz it was in great condition. I brought my car in two days ago for a recall and I also had a humming sound. I spoke to the receptionist Stefania and I said I am more then 95% sure this is my wheel bearing I would like to refuse a diagnostic she said it’s necessary to get a diagnostic because if it’s something In the engine and we fix the another issue then u will come back and angry customer. Even though I knew it was the wheel bearing .s So I get the diagnostic back and it’s the wheel bearing. I called Joe the service manager to dispute this charge of $200 because she was adamant about me getting this diagnostic saying we need to scan it to make sure it’s not the engine. So as a courtesy because I told the service secretary and I was upset about paying $200 for basically a test drive I ended up paying for a diagnostic he tells me I can have an oil change In return. I am please with that UNTIL I go home wit the car and drive it the next day and now it’s overheating when before any of this I had no issues with the car over heating. So I bring it back after I take some more time from work with this hassle and I asked if they did a diagnostic why wouldn’t it say that theres and issue and it’s just the wheel bearing. Joe then proceeds to say well a diagnostic is to check for the sound only. So I said that’s not what ur secretary says and I asked why they are running me in circles and lying about what exact service I’m gettin when I brought my car I didn’t have that issue at all I leave the next day and now have over heating issues and then I’m told it had a diagnostic but it doesn’t Scan the engine but that’s why the secretary charged me $200 because she said they scan it to rule out all issues. Joe then says that’s how it works so I said that’s a lie that was told I was under another impression so then I ask her why she lied and she says what Joe told her to say that when the car comes in for a noise we just listen to that noise and it doesn’t cover the engine. So then this unprofessional secretary decides to reference my job and say “ when a patient comes in the hospital and they have an issue with something but it turns around to be something else don’t you wanna get paid because u checked them out “. She was totally unprofessional a life that matters she decided to compare to money and car issues. I told them they were dishonest and I feel like their responsible for the issues my car is now having that wasn’t happening before. They decided to take back the oil change and use that toward actual diagnostic that they decided to do after I brought it back since they never did it to begin with and I may have to pay someone else for damage they could’ve caused and was dishonest about scanning my car. I will not return to this location and I do not recommend if your looking for honesty to go to Atlantic Audi in Islip. More
