Even after the test drive, my son was still torn between the BMW and another brand. Rick continued to show patience by not pressuring us for the sale. Instead, he continued to point out the safety and performance attributes of the 428i, while never bashing the other brand under consideration. Scott Cassady, Athens BMW's Product Knowledge Specialist met me at a designation location (so I could return my insurance rental vehicle) and then drove with me to my home for an in-depth product demonstration of my new 328i, complete with pairing my iPhone and garage door opener. Scott then coordinated the entire paperwork transaction efficiently and was picked up by another BMW staff member when my delivery was complete. Scott even left me his cell phone number in case I have future product related questions. The entire Athens BMW experience was totally outstanding. It couldn't have gone any better. Buying a car surely ranks up there with death and taxes in many people's minds: it's a certainty but not always a desirable experience. This is likely also true for the dealer since there is so much information available and so much of isn't credible or reliable and the sales folk have to navigate through a larger educational experience than in years past. Despite these facts, the crew at Athens BMW were nothing short of shockingly amazing to work with. They handled my tedious questions with aplomb. They knew the product as well as anyone I have ever bought anything from. And there was absolutely no drama, no heavy sighs, no pressure - NOTHING negative. They met me on every concern and question I had, and it was easy to see they knew their market and they knew the information that was out there. I'm so happy to buy from local guys, in a dealership I first bought a car from in the 1980s. They are a great asset to this community and to their brand.
