Buying our First BMW This is my first time buying a BMW. I know the vehicles reputation as being a fine automobile as well as BMW the company. Rick Blythewood was my salesman from Athens BMW who contacted me after I submitted through USAA Vehicle's purchase program. I also was contacted by BMW of Columbia SC and Taylor BMW of Augusta GA. But it was Rick who made the best effort to win my business. I initially told him we would wait till April or May 2015 to buy and he understood the reason and was not like your typical salesman who pressured you into buying a car. I went back to Rick after my wife and I decided to go ahead and buy because the deals that were being offered now probably would not be around at that time. The vehicle that we bought was not one to be found on a lot anywhere so we ordered it and Rick made sure we got exactly what we wanted on the order process. So I am writing to let people know that the Athens BMW of Athens GA has gone out of their way to make this a rewarding experience and I highly recommend that you check them out. I live in Evans, GA and its a hour and a half drive to them. The drive was worth it and I will most like buy another BMW from them because they didn't haggle over a price. Plus they have said they will service my vehicle and will drive with a loaner car and pick my vehicle up enduring the hour and a half drive both ways to make this deal sweeter.
