I liked working with David. He explained in detail to me the problems with my car and why he recommended replacement parts or the services needed on the car. With my husband's car (also a VW Passat) he sho the problems with my car and why he recommended replacement parts or the services needed on the car. With my husband's car (also a VW Passat) he showed him the old part that had been replaced (a catalytic converter) and why it needed to be replaced. A picture sometimes is worth a thousand words ! In my experience, he did not try to encourage unnecessary work and when appropriate, he actually advised against work when I asked about a particular service. He seemed knowledgable and was always very pleasant. I believe that the labor rate was slightly lower than the rate with the previous mechanic whom we were using. However I think that his rates are in line with other mechanics in the area. Also the location for us was very convenient. So far, I would highly recommend him. More
