Hello Nick, I don't want to write out the complete experience, as it would take way too long. The short answer is that I had my truck in twice to get service. The first time to get a diagnostic done for three issues I was experiencing. I was told it would be a day maybe two, but it turned into five days (weekend was part of that) that I didn't have my work truck. The communication was terrible and I had to initiate all the calls. When I got my truck the service associate blamed my issues on an after market alarm I had put in. Very possible that this was my issue. I took his advice to go back to Car toys to have the unit removed so we could further diagnose the issue. Car toys did remove the unit and I still experienced the same issue. I made another appointment at Nissan. When I spoke to Jason Casey the service advisor I had been working with, I expressed my frustration that I would have my truck unavailable again for multiple days. I asked if he could provide a loaner vehicle for me to use, he said none available. I asked him to pick any day that would be his best day to ensure that my truck was evaluated and I would arrange my schedule to meet that day, but needed the truck to be looked at that day. He said he would not guarantee that the truck would be looked at even though I had an appointment. I offered to drop it off the day before in the afternoon if that would give him the time. He said he would not guarantee it. I offered every suggestion I could think of to get my truck in on the best day to get the work done, but he denied each of them and offered none of his own. Ultimately I dropped off my car and again expressed the need to get my car back as soon as possible. I dropped it off the night before my appointment so it was there first thing in the morning. At 6:30 pm on the day of the appointment, I called and asked what the statis was. I was told that it had not been looked at yet. Again, I had to make the call, no one from the service department called me. I called the following day at or around 10am, and was told that my message would be given to Jason. I did get a call back around 11:30 or noon saying that my truck was now being looked at (a day late) and that Car toys failed to remove all the wires, there was nothing Nissan could do. I said to have my truck ready and I would come pick it up. I did pick up my truck and was again told that the issue was all due to my after market alarm. I made a new appointment with Car toys (a week from the date I picked up my truck). In the time between picking up my truck and my Car toys appointment, I found the issue was no longer showing up. It is my belief that something someone did at the service center fixed the issue. However, I also believe they knew it but didn't want to tell me in order to fix blame on another business. During my entire experience at Nissan, Jason "bad mouthed" Car toys several times regarding shoddy work. I believe they were not honest with me and that they purposely took extra time to look at my truck to further frustrate me.
