I have a bit of advice for anyone who is choosing to purchase a used vehicle from Al Serra, make sure you have the vehicle inspected. Do not trust that they have done a thorough job and DO NOT believe purchase a used vehicle from Al Serra, make sure you have the vehicle inspected. Do not trust that they have done a thorough job and DO NOT believe them when they tell you that you're covered by the extended warranty. Two weeks ago I purchased a 2014 Jeep Wrangler with 61,000 miles. We drove 300 miles and there simply wasn't anyway to have it inspected by our mechanic, so we took a chance and trusted them. Big mistake. Al Serra was the servicing dealer for the last few years on this Jeep, so they know every little detail about it. 4 days after we purchased it, we noticed a serious oil leak. We took it in to our local dealer and were told that the oil filter adapter housing is leaking. Pictures were sent to the warranty company and it was determined that based on the extent of the damage, it could not have happened in the time frame of us buying it and reporting the issue. The warranty company won't touch it and tell me that Al Serra should have fixed this prior to ever selling the Jeep and that there is absolutely no way they didn't know there was an issue. It's been nothing but crickets from Al Serra. The salesman said he would talk with his managers, but I have heard NOTHING from anyone since that email earlier this week. So buyer beware, I would never purchase a vehicle from them again, and I certainly will never recommend them. They do not stand behind the sale. More

Sold my family a warranty that has a bad reputation of not paying out on claims ,got the car when it had 92k miles and at 101k it is starting to act up(ticking and a slight knock under acceleration) not paying out on claims ,got the car when it had 92k miles and at 101k it is starting to act up(ticking and a slight knock under acceleration) More
They knowingly sold me a car that was involved in what they said after the fact were minor accidents. Darrel cristoforo was the salesman him and the dealership acted like what they did was fine. In Michig they said after the fact were minor accidents. Darrel cristoforo was the salesman him and the dealership acted like what they did was fine. In Michigan you don’t have to tell the customer anything it’s the customer‘s responsibility to look up Carfax well if I looked up the Carfax and saw two accidents. I would not have paid top blue book for a 2015 Forrester $18,650. Not to mention they did the repairs and it was horrible after I saw the Carfax the seams were not even and it also had a broken strut my car was in the service department for a recall for the rear springs and they still didn’t say anything about the strut had to notice it but knew they were to have to replace both. The whole operation is scammy from top to bottom and Subaru doesn’t care that they sell cars that way either. Again if I would’ve looked up the Carfax I wouldn’t of bought the car you know they got rid of the car with two accidents and ended up costing me at least 2000 on trade-in and $1000 to replace the struts then other things started going wrong with the car on the same side as the two MINOR accidents. A horrible guess on his way to sell cars that are supposedly trustworthy dealership I’ll tell you what like they say in Michigan buyer beware I wouldn’t go anywhere near any Al Serra dealership More
I had my truck in for a warranty repair, the technician that worked on it did a poor job in quality. There were wires left out of the harnesses, random zip ties and overall disregard for the customer. I ha that worked on it did a poor job in quality. There were wires left out of the harnesses, random zip ties and overall disregard for the customer. I had to have it towed back because the repair work done cause a fire in my truck. After getting it back the second time, my stabitrac light is on as well as ABS light. Neither of these lights were on when I dropped it off either time. Ethan the service tech I was dealing with has been no help. Basically telling me I'm stuck with these issues. I would suggest steering clear of using them, they do sub par work. My truck is worse off than when I initially had it repaired. Pretty sad when the tow truck driver tells you I should have went to Simms or Vic Canever. More
Robbie Robinson is an excellent salesman. He is soooo patient. For example, I was indecisive about the car I wanted and he did not rush me. He took the time and explained every detail of each car I was c patient. For example, I was indecisive about the car I wanted and he did not rush me. As is vehicle Recently purchased a used (as is) vehicle from the used lot. On the test drive I noticed the brakes where in bad shape. Talked to the salesman Adam Gr Recently purchased a used (as is) vehicle from the used lot. On the test drive I noticed the brakes where in bad shape. Talked to the salesman Adam Griffin and manager Mike Majerowicz. This was a high mile older vehicle. Mike drove it and agreed it was bad and had the vehicle repaired regardless of me buying it or not. Drove the vehicle after and it’s like a new car. Extremely happy with everything and how even though it was as is they still cared about making it right. Also when I first arrived I was early and my salesman was not in yet so John Peera helped get me in the vehicle to drive it and never acted like it was a problem. Great team work. Good people. More
A very upsetting experience My spouse and I drove over 100 miles to test drive a car that I had been looking for. I made an appointment the day before for a next-morning meeting. My spouse and I drove over 100 miles to test drive a car that I had been looking for. I made an appointment the day before for a next-morning meeting. After test-driving (and loving) the car, the salesperson and I made arrangements for payment and for the dealership to deliver the car to me on the next business day. After driving the 100+ miles home, I attempted many times to contact my salesperson and also the manager I had worked with to give them my debit card information, but could only get transferred to phone mail. After 3 hours, and calling the main number to insist on speaking with an actual person, I was notified that the car had been sold after I left. "A communication error". And . . . I HAD TO CALL THEM to hear the news. This is no way to run a business - 4 hours on the road to see this car and an afternoon wasted. I am both furious and disappointed. More
