Simply put, Rob and Acura of Tempe made my experience one of a kind. Keep in mind, I have been searching for a new vehicle for several months now. I have experienced several dealers with varying "makes" of cars. Every time, besides with Rob, I experienced a pushy high pressure environment. A revolving door of employees would continually berate you. One dealer, when we were negotiating on another vehicle and were about $50 a month apart, tried to close the deal my repeating "Just do it. Do it. $50. Come on man. You can do that.". On top of that, most other dealers won't let you walk out the door with a quote. There follow up calls are to just try and get you back into the dealership. My experience with Rob and Acura of Tempe was the complete opposite. Rob never pressured me. He showed me the vehicle. Answered all of my questions. When I asked for a quote, the number was exactly where it needed to be. On top of that, he let me walk out the door without throwing any hail mary's. He gave me the credit application to fill out at home if I was interested AND let me go home with the quote and the breakdown of the numbers. Keep in mind, my home is 5 minutes from the North Scottsdale location. At my experience, when I decided I was going to pull the trigger, I drove 30 minutes to go see Rob. I felt that the price on the vehicle was fair as well, and the team was more than willing to meet me half way. I have purchased quite a few cars and I have to say this vehicle was the easiest one I have ever purchased. I didn't feel pressured or stressed out at any moment of this deal. I live much closer to another Acura dealership but chose to drive to Acura of Tempe because I had heard good reviews. Acura of Tempe is worth the drive from anyplace in the Phoenix area. The Sales aspect is only the beginning and the key part of the relationship is Bob Santa Maria and Abel Talbo, who are part of the Acura of Tempe Service Department and are the KEY reasons we travel 40+ miles to have our cars serviced by these two fine gentlemen. My transaction started on the internet. I made an appt to go in the next day, and the car I wanted to look at was taken out of the sun, so it would not be so hot when I drove it.
