I stopped in to check out a Mazda SUV about a month ago and met Sam Gordon. He was so very nice and answered all my questions, was very knowledgeable and showed me what I requested. I told him that I did not plan to buy immediately and was also looking at a new Toyota Rav ( I planned to trade-in my ten year old Rav) and a Subaru, Forrester. He did not pressure me in anyway and hoped that I would consider a Mazda after all my research. He did mention all the reasons that a Mazda was a better choice for me but again, their was no pressure. He shook my hand and hoped that I would come back. When I did return, it was to just check out a Mazda one more time before I purchased the Rav-4 that I had test driven a few minutes before and planned to purchase. I asked for Sam and he came over immediately, remembered me and made me comfortable with coffee while he was with a customer. Then someone else came over and asked me if I would like a test drive again while Sam was finishing up. I fell in love with the CX-5, received what I thought was a fair price and what I really loved was when I returned to pick up my vehicle, Sam took so much time to go over every detail with me even having me bring in my Touch to show me how to set that up. He showed me all the Bluetooth capabilities and had total patience with me. I am planning to drive my new Mazda to Florida in a few days and Sam gave me his cell number and told me to call with any questions anytime and especially if I have questions on my drive. Anyway, this story is too long but I just wanted to say that Sam Gordon was an excellent Salesman, was not arrogant or pushy. He did treat me with respect unlike a couple of other dealers.
