Wasn't pushy and didn't have the typical sales guy persona. He was extremely friendly, personable, and knew all the answers to the questions we asked; whether it was about the car or the car buying process. He worked with us to get the lowest price on both cars as well as a good trade in price for my wife's car. I will definitely recommend Elliot to any of my family or friends and I will certainly be going back to him when it is time for another car. My wife and I learned of Lannan Mazda through the BJ's Club autoprogram, and we were contacted by John Bonner. John was responsive and when we had our test drive he provided plenty of information about the vehicle, was friendly and we didn't feel pressured. Lannan offered a very good price for the vehicle, but we didn't give them the top rating for price because even after negotiations, another dealership offered a slightly lower price. However, we chose to purchase from Lannan because of the service and the significant distance to the other Mazda dealership. Overall, we've been very pleased thus far with our business with Lannan Mazda and John Bonner. More
My wife and I were looking for a new car after a disappointing experience with a manufacturer from Dearborn. We had looked any many vehicles and had decided to buy a Toyota Venza. We were visiting my parents when my father suggested that we consider a Mazda CX-5. He said that he loved his CX-7 and was considering a CX-5 for my mother. My mother agreed that the CX-7 was great. On my drive home that night I remember thinking that I would never buy a "mom" car but figured I should check it out anyway so I could at least say that I did. Then I pretty much forgot about the Mazda. Soon thereafter I decided to take my wife back to the Toyota dealership so she could test drive the Venza and the Camry. She like the Camry but was a little less sure of the Venza. On our way home we were driving by Lannan Mazda and decided to pull in. They looked closed so we figured we'd take a look and decide if we wanted to come back. Well, Sam Gordon was still there, he saw us looking and came out to see if we needed help. He was very nice in answering our questions and assured me that the CX-5 was a fun car to drive. We agreed that I would come back the next day for a test drive. The next day we met up with Sam and took the car our for a drive. We took longer than expected because my wife and I both took turns behind the wheel. Sam was very helpful; he offered many useful pieces of information about the vehicle, the manufacturer and the dealership. There was no pressure to buy or to make any commitments. After returning home my wife and I decided we like the car and later returned to purchase it from Sam. He was very professional throughout the process and made sure everything went smoothly. One of the accessories we wanted was not available so Sam arranged for us to come back to get the item installed once it was in stock. The service team was a pleasure to work with by providing an accurate estimate for how long the installation would take and by giving me updates as needed. Overall my experience was very good. During the course of us purchasing this vehicle from Lannan, my wife told one of her friends about our experience to that point and her friend went to Lannan and purchased a CX-5 for himself (which he loves). I recommend Sam Gordon specifically but can also recommend the dealership as a whole. Thanks! More

He responded to me via email which made my purchase process go smoothly. The pricing negotiation process was simple and he (and Anthony) beat the other dealers offers. He made the process go fast by prepared all the documents ahead of time which allowed me to make the purchase over lunch and pick up the car later that day. I also worked with Barbara who was also pleasant and provide me the financing that I needed. Sam was professional, fair, reasonable, and low key that worked for me. I had a great experience and will be returning to try out their service department in the future, if it is anything like the the experience thus far then they will have a loyal customer. Finally, I would high recommend working with Sam from this dealership to another person that is interested in a Mazda. In fact I have already made a recommendation to a colleague. If you want a stress free, no pressure, car buying experience, even if some of these other dealers have told you your ridiculous, This team of people will make it happen! These guys absolutely strive for excellence and 110% satisfaction with their customers! I am absolutely not an easy person to make happy and certainly was not an easy person to get financed and personally thought it was not even possible. They put me in the right car, with a very solid deal, a remarkable APR (for my credit), and catered to my every seemingly ridiculous desire. After 2 weeks of having the car i noticed a "blemish" on the car, and without any hesitation at all they requested for me to drop the car off to be touched up. They even made sure i wasn't without a car by getting me a rental at no cost! Elliot Hersh is a remarkably talented representative for this company. I would highly recommend anybody going in there to request him. He is so not the typical sales guy, and added a level of comfort for my experience. He 100% feels like your talking to a friend and certainly cares about getting you EVERYTHING you desire. His manner from the minute i walked in there up to this current day is like no other sales guy anywhere!! Thank You! Though i didn't really have much interaction with Barbara, I must say what little time i did interact she was very courteous, friendly, and professional. For her to be able to make the financing happen for me i know she worked very hard and I can only Thank her up and down. When the little blemish on the car was brought up to Elliot, Anthony was notified at once. He stopped whatever he was doing at word of a possible customer complaint. Seconds later he was outside inspecting the blemish and within 30 seconds I knew the whole issue would be properly handled. He absolutely made sure there would be zero stress on me because of this blemish, he took care of everything down to throwing in a couple items because it took some of my time away from life. Again I am by no means an easy person to please i can't stress that enough!!! The hard work of this team has absolutely gained a returning customer for years as well as someone to spread the word that a truly awesome dealer does exist. More
