Mazda was not on our list but since the dealership was close by we gave it a shot on our way home to take a look. Not only was the CX-9 the first car to put a smile on our faces just by sitting in it but our experience with our rep was effortless. He never tried to 'sell' the car to us. He listened to us and really tried to find out what we were looking for. Nate was new and didn't have all the answers but that didn't stop him from finding them out. We went back the following evening and met Blain in order to test drive the CX-5. Blaine hands down has the best customer service skills that both my husband and I have encountered (that is a combined 25 years of retail and technology sales). Nate and Blaine worked as a team along with the rest of the men and women at Lannan. They honestly changed our experience and idea of what a car salesman should be. Not pushy or trying to make a deal but someone who really tries to get to know your needs and works to find the best fit. Not looking out for themselves but to do the right thing....and as a TEAM. Next time you are car shopping I encourage you to stop at Lannan FIRST and meet Nate and Blaine. They will change the expectations of what a care salesman should be. Now the car?....We bought the CX-9 and we love it. Through the whole process Nate and Blaine were there. Never forcing themselves on us but working as a team with us. It was so easy and fun. They were great to my kids while we were there for a few hours trying to make decisions and get to the price we needed. They called us at every turn to make sure we were happy and keep us informed. Never did I have to ask what happens next or when will you let me know. They did it all. As you can tell we were over the moon with not these 2 guys but the overall service and experience at Lannan. The only reason I am hesitant to give a higher rating is because of the process each time we've gone hasn't been as seemless as we've hoped it would be, this is the second Mazda we've leased and each time the actual paperwork to be signed has not been correct. Sheriff (husband) and I also could not seem to get a clear answer about how the residual impacts the lease amount and how the residual climbs as the model gets older--closer to the end of the model year. We left feeling like perhaps we did not get the best deal but I love the car. I appreciate how helpful Blaine was as well as how willing he was to resolve issues but we acknowledge that some things are out of his control and happen at the administrative or bank level. Barbara was also very nice and fixed the issues with the paperwork right away. I cannot rate Anthony because I never met him. More

We looked into three manufacturer's offerings during this search – VW Sportswagen, Subaru Impreza Wagon, and the Mazda3. They all excelled in one area or another. The VW had the most room, the Subaru had AWD, and the Mazda had the best gas mileage, but these were only some of the factors under consideration. We also wanted the dealer to be close and we wanted the dealer, namely the salesperson, not to be pushy, be considerate of our needs and willing to go the extra mile for us, even though we weren't looking at the top-of-the-line vehicles. Without maligning the other dealers, I have to say that Elliot Hersh was far and away the best of the three. He understood what we were after and even made a recommendation we hadn't considered in order to keep the price down (which we ended up taking). He was also understand of my wife's schedule and time limitations. Lannan also matched the price we found at another dealer as well as finding the color we wanted. Yes, we had to be firm to get them to find the car outside of their inventory, but I don't expect any other dealer to be different. Once they knew we were serious about our purchasing a car from them, they made the effort and obtained the exact car at the exact price we wanted. Elliot was on top of the process the whole way. He kept us informed via email and phone and made himself available for questions, even outside of the dealership and showroom hours. I think he may have been the only salesman I've met who I wanted to sell me a car. Thanks, Elliot and Lannan Mazda. You've got a new customer. More

On the day of getting my car, he sat down with me and went through everything I could have possibly needed to ask, going through where I should look in the manual and going over what all the buttons in the car did, etc. He seems to love his job and that makes the whole experience better. I definitely suggest you ask for Elliott if you're going to buy a car! More
