Gateway Classic Cars of Charlotte is proud to digitally present this 2019 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1.The most recent Corvette ZR1 was introduced for the 2019 model year and was offered only for that year, as 2020 brought about the new C8. The C7 ZR1 is the most powerful Corvette and the most potent Chevrolet road car ever produced utilizing GMs first dual-fuel-injection system, which employs primary direct injection and supplemental port injection, helps the LT5 achieve 755 horsepower and 715 lb.-ft. Of torque. Of course, the C7 ZR1 featured a state-of-the-art magnetic suspension system, massive carbon-ceramic brakes, enhanced engine cooling components, and extensive aerodynamic tuning. The ZR1s aggressive appearance is driven by function, with a unique front fascia designed to channel air for propulsion-system and drivetrain cooling, including four new radiators bringing the heat-exchanger total to 13. The result was the top-performing Corvette ever, as it will blast from a stop to 60 in just 2.85 seconds, covering the quarter-mile in the high-10-second range. With three available driving modes, you can find the one that fits your needs. The Chevy Corvette 2019 models usually come with five different driver modes. However, the ZR1 only needs three: Tour, Sport, and Track. Tour is for everyday driving. Chevy knows you can go less than 200 miles per hour while on a road trip or as you drive daily commutes. Tour mode is specifically designed for these uses. While Sport and Track modes allow the vehicle to show off its exceptional range and power, Tour mode is for your comfort. Dynamic systems make the car far less stiff to drive in the city, while shock-dampening technology improves comfort and support, especially for long-distance traveling.Sport mode is designed for when a driver feels like showing off a bit. The volume of the throttle becomes more pronounced as you start to increase your speed past the typical highway speed limit range. The dashboard display and heads-up display both change their tune as well. Instead of the audio, GPS, and phone data prominent in Tour mode, The RPMs and speed sensors become the focal point. Sport mode is the option used most often by drivers not on the racetrack, as it allows you to follow the pack or crank it up a notch-and turn some heads in the process.Track mode is designed exclusively for the racetrack, but some adrenaline junkies may want to put the ZR1 into Track mode on long stretches of empty highway. Maximum acceleration levels are achieved in Track mode because the activated launch control technology-traction increases, as well as the timing and responsiveness of the vehicle. This heart-stopping machine is equipped with the available Sebring Orange Design Package. Contents include Sebring Orange Tintcoat exterior color, orange-painted calipers, ZR1 Carbon Flash-painted aluminum wheels, orange custom leather stitch, orange-painted striped ground effects, Jet Black leather seating surfaces with suede microfiber inserts with orange stitching, Competition Sport bucket seats, carbon fiber, and suede microfiber-wrapped rim, flat-bottom steering wheel, orange safety belts, ZR- logo floor mats with orange accents and bronze-tinted aluminum interior accents. This car demands attention everywhere you take it, whether at the country club, on highway drives, or spending time on the race track!
