I just purchased a new Prius Prime XSE after seeing one at the Portland Auto show. My assigned sales representative was Zack. I found him to be pleasant to deal with. He was clearly rather new in this po at the Portland Auto show. My assigned sales representative was Zack. I found him to be pleasant to deal with. He was clearly rather new in this position, a fact that he confirmed. But this was not a negative. In fact, as I told him, you can always be mentored by those with more experience in the position, but you can't instill "nice" or fake "integrity." Our transaction was lengthy as expected from my prior experiences purchasing a new car over the years, but the process was comfortable, and I never felt I was being managed by an amateur. If Zack didn't know some information or had to get approval to extend the delivery date to allow for pickup, he always confirmed with a senior manager and was extremely supportive throughout. There was never an issue with the final price of the vehicle (which I felt was fair in comparison to several other vehicles available with nearly identical features). The negotiations centered more on the levels of financing and how to select from the different scenarios available. All issues were resolved to my satisfaction with Zack's continued persistence to remain customer focused. I only rate 4 stars simply as an incentive for Zack to continue to increase his knowledge across all components of a sales transaction. I am also rating the dealership at 4 stars since I have no prior relationship with this particular vendor and have not yet experienced their level of customer satisfaction and expertise in the service department. Even with the "one point of contact" protocol, there is clearly an experienced and efficient support team to back up the process. Thanks for a great experience. More
