I recently purchased a used vehicle from Ira Lexus of Manchester. My salesman, Zachary Rocheleau exceeded my expectations. There was no pressure, we went on a test drive and it was like hanging out with Manchester. My salesman, Zachary Rocheleau exceeded my expectations. Zach was super throughout the sales process, answering all of my questions and explaining the options on my vehicle. When I returned for my inspection, the service department was awesome. The experience was initially a-ok but Nigel Long went above and beyond and turn it into great experience! Really happy customer here. Nigel reached out to see if we had any grievances, and offered to fix above and beyond and turn it into great experience! Really happy customer here. Nigel reached out to see if we had any grievances, and offered to fix things *after* I signed the paperwork. Simply incredible service! In general, facility is sparkling clean; staff -- nice and respectful. Now, what can be improved: not all Lexus customers are the same. In my mind there are two buckets: people who do not look at the price, they just need a nice reliable luxurious ride, and people like me -- I love Lexus cars, but I work hard for each dollar. Our vehicle had Nitro package (nitrogen-filled tires) pre-installed and there was a charge for it. I made it clear several times that I did not care for Nitro. For busy CEOs this makes sense, but for me it was an expense without any improvement in quality of life. I do not mind paying for goods and services I need and appreciate, but I'd rather not pay for for something I do not need. It took Nigel's intervention to take it off the list. The second issue arose at the time of financing. The buyer is pressed to make several multi-thousand decisions looking several years into the future, quickly. After careful consideration, we decided not to get neither extended warranty, nor prepaid service. Prepaid service sounded nice, but when I asked to produce a price-list of what I'd have to pay for service if I did not prepay (basically, to see what would I save by prepaying) -- the staff declined and mumbled something about "we do not have the numbers". So, we declined everything, and that's why I nicked one star off the review. Again, Nigel was super-helpful to fix all the wrongs I did when signing the paperwork, and is the sole reason I will be coming back (definitely service, and quite likely another car in near future). In the end, we loved the experience, and recommend Ira Lexus Manchester branch to our friends. Lexus makes some impressive cars, but the GX is a legend. Thank you, Nigel and team for making it a great experience in the end. More
