Dropped off a work truck that broke down on me. I informed their front desk that the trucks transfer case was most likely the issue. They then took a week to "diagnose" it as a sensor that went I informed their front desk that the trucks transfer case was most likely the issue. They then took a week to "diagnose" it as a sensor that went bad. I get charged $2,100 for parts and labor. Then they have to wait for a "master technician" to make sure the repair was done right. Finally 20 days after I dropped the truck off I get a call saying "it wasn't the sensor, its the transfer case and it will cost $5000 more to fix." It took them 20 days and a 2000 dollar incorrect repair to figure out what I told them day one. More
