Alan was very easy to work with, and the highlight of my experience with him is how understanding he was and how he listened to what I wanted. I let him know up front what our budget was, and what we needed our monthly payments to be. We were looking for a van; Alan let us know about a van he thought would be great for us...and when it turned out that it was too outside our monthly budget, he let us know this right away but continued looking for another van that fit our budget. He did not pressure us or try and “talk” us into any pricier vans or upgraded amenities. He was forward with me (showed me an estimate of total costs, trade in value of my old van and showed us what our monthly payments would be if we were approved. The final price and monthly cost turned out to be almost the exact amount he had shown us (actually less than what he had shown us). I would absolutely recommend anyone looking for a Toyota to work with Alan. I honestly can’t write enough good things about my experience at Toyota and Alan! We bought our first one from Cedar Rapids Toyota in 2002 ( 1999 Rav 4), the second in 2012 (2010 Rav 4), and last week (05/30/19) our latest, another Certified Toyota Rav 4 (2017). We've only been in Iowa for 17 years and the only cars we've bought have been from Cedar Rapids Toyota. The dealership has grown by leaps and bounds since we began with them, but we can still count on the same dependability and consistently good service. Alan Makabi guided us through the hoops of purchasing our car from answering my e-mail to him about 10 days ago about the possibility of a purchase very soon to finally picking up the Rav 4 today. He and others at the dealership have gone out of their way to make you feel like you're an appreciated customer. More
