I was taken advantage of and don’t trust anyone at this dealership. On May 17, 2023, I reached out to Legend Nissan after finding a 2023 Pathfinder SL within my price range ($400-$500 per month) on the nis dealership. On May 17, 2023, I reached out to Legend Nissan after finding a 2023 Pathfinder SL within my price range ($400-$500 per month) on the nissanusa.com website. After receiving an email from Ian at Legend Nissan stating the vehicle was still available, I went to the showroom to look at the vehicle and discuss leasing options. I was partnered with a salesperson, Mike Black, who quoted a monthly lease payment of approximately $686. The quote I saw on the website for the same Pathfinder SL 4WD I was shown at Legend Nissan was $463 per month for the same terms - 36 month lease and 10k miles per year. That said, I advised Legend Nissan of this issue in an email that same day to which I have yet to hear back from anyone; however, I noticed the NissanUSA website has since been revamped. Now, it notes that a down payment of $6K is required to get a lower lease payment. Additionally, the payment calculator automatically adds a Down Payment when you open it and you cannot build a Pathfinder SL with a SL Premium Package and Towing Hitch Receiver even though that's how I viewed the vehicle on the website. At this point, I feel Nissan and Legend Nissan acted improper. First, by advertising a lower lease price just to get me into their dealership and second, by believing they could say whatever they wanted and quote a much higher lease price since I am a woman who was not accompanied by a man and would buy into whatever they said. I have the emails and screenshots to prove what occurred. Yes, I received a call and email from Legend Nissan, but as I told Joe, I am not sure why they contacted me again since Wayne Siegel, their GM, stated to the NY Attorney General, after receiving my complaint, that they offered me an “outstanding deal but that wasn’t good for her either,” and I “would be a disgruntled customer from the start.” To be clear, offering $499 a month for an 18 month lease was not an outstanding deal as the same car was estimated to be a lease of $463 a month for 36 months with no money down on Nissan’s website. When I spoke to Joe previously, he looked for any which way to prove that I “wrongfully made the assumption that offers” I saw on the Nissan website didn’t require any money down after sending you picture after picture. Each one I sent them, he looked for another loophole. I may be a woman, but I am far from stupid or naive. I also found it amusing that Joe stated in his recent voicemail that he wanted to give me “rock bottom number over the phone with the amount of money you want and the miles you want.” So now he wants to offer that “outstanding deal” they mentioned in their response to the Attorney General. The service staff is very accommodating and respectful of time and cost. Work was done in a timely manner. Prices for parts are much higher than what can be directly sourced online and Nissan’s leadershi time and cost. Work was done in a timely manner. Prices for parts are much higher than what can be directly sourced online and Nissan’s leadership should stop with the predatory pricing as although service is great, it doesn’t create a license to inflate part prices to this extent. An airbag that should cost $1000 and is $665 on a discount site was inflated to nearly $2000 at the Dealership! Source: nissanpartsdeal.com. I went down to legend nissan to go look for my first new car. I was addressed by Joel grant and right away he made my experience amazing. Both Joel and Brendan both helped ease my worries about buying. Buy car. I was addressed by Joel grant and right away he made my experience amazing. Both Joel and Brendan both helped ease my worries about buying. Buying your first new car is always nerve racking but never the less did they make me feel comfortable. The easiest decision I’ve ever made was buying a car through legend Nissan. I have never gone to a dealership where the staff and customers are all so happy. The owner Wayne even came down to see how everything was going. Wayne was so caring and kind and helped the process go by so smoothly. I will defiantly be referring legend Nissan to everyone I know. More
