I recently dropped our work van off at Kelly Nissan Lynnfield to get something fixed for the 6th time (they could not get it right). We dropped it off at 1/15 @ 830 AM. We got a call from Kelly Nissan Lynnfield to get something fixed for the 6th time (they could not get it right). We dropped it off at 1/15 @ 830 AM. We got a call from Kelly Nissan at around 11 AM inquiring if we wanted to sell our vehicle, but we politely declined. By 230PM we had not heard from them, so we called to see if we could pick-up the van. They said that our van caught on fire AFTER they fixed it! It was in the parking lot an hour later when a customer stated that there was a fire outside. They could not put the fire out, so they had to call the fire department which came and put the fire out. They immediately took no blame for it, instead pointing the finger at our radio we had someone install over 4 years ago. I can say for certainty this - our car was NOT on fire when we dropped it off! To make matters worse NOBODY notified me that my van caught on fire and I had to find out myself when calling. We have received no apology from Kelly Nissan, they just told us to call our insurance. This van was part of our livelihood. We run a cleaning company so this takes a HUGE hit on our business, as we had a decent portion of our cleaning equipment in this van. Kelly offers us no rental so we are unfortunately out of business for the time being. WE WILL NOT BE STANDING FOR THIS. WE ARE CONTACTING THE AG OFFICE AND ANY NEWS ORGANIZATION THAT WILL LEND AN EAR.
