I do not recommend Luther Brookdale Honda and especially salesperson Victor Oats. A few weeks ago I emailed Luther stating I was interested in a Honda Pilot. Was given to Victor Oats by the internet sal salesperson Victor Oats. A few weeks ago I emailed Luther stating I was interested in a Honda Pilot. Was given to Victor Oats by the internet sales manager. We had a few email exchanges where he seemed decent. When we were ready to buy, we called and asked for Victor in order to set up an appointment and was told he was off that day. We made an appointment with another salesperson. Victor called a few minutes later and said he would come in just for us. We arrived on time for our appointment but was told by the secretary Victor was running a few minutes late, but would be here in 5 minutes. We waited 20 minutes and decided to leave when another Luther employee asked if we had been helped. We stated we were waiting for Victor, but he never showed nor did anyone else check in with us. That Luther employee tracked him down and when Victor brought us to his desk, there was an elderly lady to leave his desk. It was clear he had been working with her all along while we waited. He had not come in just for us, and was ignoring us in the lobby. For some reason we gave him the benefit of the doubt and continued with trying to buy a car. He gave us the keys to a pilot to test drive while he had the car manager look at our trade. After a quick test drive and a lot of waiting, Victor gave us an extremely lowball offer. Valued my car at $5000, when most other dealers were offering $8000. The price of the Pilot was way above what we had discussed in emails. And he stated there was absolutely no room to move. It was a take it or leave it offer even after showing him a lower offer from another dealer. It was clear he did not want to work with me because I knew what I was doing and had done my research. In conclusion, we wasted 2 hours at Luther Brookdale Honda where I was ignored most of the time. Less than 20 minutes of the 2 hours we spent at Luther Brookdale Honda was in Victor Oats presence. Let that sink in. We took a 20 minute test drive, spoke with Victor for 20 minutes, and spent 1 hour and 20 minutes sitting in a chair waiting for Victor to give us a highball offer that was a complete waste of time all of the while being told we are important to him. Victor is as low of a salesperson as you can get in my opinion and we will never be returning to Luther Brookdale Honda because they employ such a low quality person. FYI, we ended up driving to Tom Kadlec in Rochester and they all were respectful, nice, and constantly checked in and followed up with us. We worked with Josh who I highly recommend. I know the drive is far, but totally worth it. I got the exact same car as Luther had but I paid $46,700 out the door with my trade and supposedly Luther Brookdale Honda's "cost price" was $51,100 with my trade. Do not let Dealers tell you no dealers negotiate anymore, because there are several that will. More

I walked in with cash and paid for the car and was a extremely cooperative customer. The car broke down on day 5(per they're policy-"Luther 5days/500 miles RETURN OR EXCHANGE") and told the salesman tha extremely cooperative customer. The car broke down on day 5(per they're policy-"Luther 5days/500 miles RETURN OR EXCHANGE") and told the salesman that I didn't want the car after all and heard nothing back until the GENERAL MANAGER contacted me and as I calmly expressed that I didn't want to keep the car and asked him for my money back $35787.16 and he told me that NO they weren't willing to give me my money back and actually hung up on me. Once he called me back I asked him again(per they're own policy) if I could just get my money back and return the car which he said NO. TRULY A BAD EXPERIENCE FOR ME AND ALSO BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE on they're part. Very disappointed in LUTHER BROOKDALE HONDA. More

I am very disappointed with how difficult it has been trying to purchase a vehicle through Luther Brookdale Honda. The salesman I have been dealing with (Victor) has caused me a huge inconvenience and ad trying to purchase a vehicle through Luther Brookdale Honda. The salesman I have been dealing with (Victor) has caused me a huge inconvenience and additional stress in my life. As a newly single mom, I do not need more stress. I do not have the time to go through what I am currently going through with this dealership. The salesman said there were some 2024 Honda CRV EX-L "in transit". I was promised a delivery date for the week of September 19th-22nd. I wanted to purchase from them because they were able to give me the earliest delivery date, sooner than other dealerships I contacted... and I contacted a lot of them. It was difficult/stressful enough trying to deal with my insurance company when they totaled my vehicle, and now I was lied to about when I was going to have my new car by. This has caused me to have to juggle around the amount of time needed to rent the car from Enterprise, asking for time off of work, asking another person to help me drop off the rental car to Enterprise and then to pick up the rental from your dealership... is not what I would call easy. Per Victor's request, I filled out the online financing application on September 15th. I requested (multiple times) to know if I was approved and what APR I was approved for. I have text messages showing I asked multiple times. I have asked to receive the documented approval letter and still have yet to see anything. I want to review my auto loan agreement/document before I sign it. This was an easy sale. I didn't even test drive the 2024 Honda CRV EX-L at Luther Brookdale Honda, due to it being unavailable. I called and spoke to the salesman that answered the phone (Victor) and told him what I was looking for and that I needed it ASAP. I would like to know if they record phone conversations that the car salesmen have? Being promised something and failing to follow through with that promise, is not acceptable. He even told me that management was telling him not to give me an update and that he was doing me a favor by telling me the vehicle was not going to be ready. I replied and said he absolutely needs to update me because I was driving a rental and I had to get an extension on the rental due to the vehicle still not being ready. I feel Victor said it would be an earlier delivery date just to make the sale. He knew I was looking for a dealership that could get the car in the fastest. It's easy to tell someone an earlier date, in order to make a sale. Saying it is delayed was an easy way to pass the buck. Whether this is what happened or not, this is how I feel. I am very turned off from ever buying a new vehicle again and I don't want another person to have to go through this experience at this dealership. I am finally able to pick up my new car on Saturday 10/6/23. This is a lot longer than the week of September 19th- 22nd. :( -Autumn Hirsch More

The only and I mean ONLY draw back was asking the dealer to replace the rear drivers side tail light as it leaks water inside of it so when you lift the tail gate water runs out of the light through the bottom of the trail gate. A suggestion was made to drill a small hole in the bottom of the light but that still won't keep water from filling up inside the light. Also I shouldn't have to drill a hole into a $26,000 vehicle in which i paid asking price. Just wanted it replaced but upper management wouldn't. I found that disappointing to say the least considering the price I paid. And to replace the light was under a $100. More

Bought a 2020 Honda Passport. It sustained some sealcoat damage during detailing. 2 weeks later we still don't have the car in our possestion.
