Go in with one car...come out with another! I didn't initially go to Landers to purchase a new vehicle. I had a 2014 Nissan Altima and I had brought it in to get an oil change. The wait was goin I didn't initially go to Landers to purchase a new vehicle. I had a 2014 Nissan Altima and I had brought it in to get an oil change. The wait was going to be about an hour because I did not make a prior appointment so I just thought I would look around while I waited on my car to be finished. I did not know that I would be driving home in a new 2015 Altima! Mr. Vernon was a spectacular salesman. He along with Walter made my experience an enjoyable one. Purchase of New Vehicle This is the review I posted at Yelp: I'm writing this review 5 days after purchasing and 3 days after picking up my 2015 Nissan XTerra. My experience This is the review I posted at Yelp: I'm writing this review 5 days after purchasing and 3 days after picking up my 2015 Nissan XTerra. My experience thus far with Landers McLarty Nissan has been nothing short of exceptional. My purchase experience started with Vernon Mason who was a very friendly, knowledgeable, polite, accommodating, and non-aggressive salesman who did everything that he told me he would do in our negotiations. My purchase experience was also enhanced by the experience and advice of John Henley, the Finance Manager, who shared with me some finance options that I had not considered which I believe in the long run made good financial sense. Before buying my XTerra I had been in negotiations with another Nissan dealership with a similar equipped XTerra but Landers McLarty had the best price; however, it wasn't just the price that convinced me to buy from Landers McLarty it was probably as much to the credit of Vernon and John. Then yesterday, I received a call from a young lady at Landers McLarty asking me if I had a moment to go over some questions which basically was a checklist to ensure that when I picked up my new vehicle that I had been given a through overview of everything. As we went through her checklist I was saying "yes, yes, yes,.." and then she said "was your gas tank full?" I said it was 3/4 full and she said "run it out, bring it back in and we will fill it up"! To some that may not mean much but to me it does! Bottom line - so far 5 Stars to Landers McLarty!!! More
