My wife and I made a "cold call" to Fisher Honda, primarily to test drive a pre-owned Pilot. We were steered to sales rep Ty Freese, who set up a drive in the Pilot. Afterwards, we told Ty we'd like primarily to test drive a pre-owned Pilot. We were steered to sales rep Ty Freese, who set up a drive in the Pilot. Afterwards, we told Ty we'd like to drive a CR-V, which he also arranged. Throughout the visit, Ty was cordial, informative and very accommodating. We liked the 2017 CR-V EX L very much and ended up buying it. But that's not the end of the story. On the day we returned with our payment, I noticed a segment of loose trim on the driver's side wheel well, obviously missed in the detailing. Since we had signed a contract for an "as is" vehicle, I was doubtful that the repair would be addressed/covered by the dealership. And initially I was told it wouldn't be. Ty huddled with the service manager, came back to us in the waiting area and said we wouldn't be charged. The cost wasn't steep, but the gesture from Ty and the dealership far exceeded any cost to us. As I told Ty, that small, extra touch was very telling about him and Fisher Honda. It earned them the respect of a satisfied, appreciative customer -- and I won't hesitate to spread the word. More
