Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns. I appreciate your business and would like to clarify what took place during the purchase of your Atlas. When you purchased the vehicle, we reviewed the repair order with you, as we do with all of our pre-owned customers. We believe transparency is very important, which is why we wanted you to be aware of the vehicle’s condition and the technician’s recommendations before you made your final decision to purchase. While the deal was being worked out, you spoke with our manager and shared that you work in the parts department at a Volkswagen dealership. At that time, an agreement was reached to provide you with $1,000 from your trade equity in the form of a check that you could apply toward the parts and repairs you discussed with our manager. This agreement was made and accepted prior to completing the purchase. I do understand your frustration with having to wait for the check, and I apologize for the inconvenience. As I explained, we issue these checks once the deal has been funded and we have received the necessary title paperwork. Throughout the process, our team did our best to keep you informed regarding the status of the check. I was glad I had the opportunity to meet you personally when you picked up the $1,000 check two days ago and discuss the situation with you.
