Scheduled in advance to have my sun roof seal replaced while I wait. 88$ part. 20 minute job. 1 hour later, they want to char Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. Passat lemon Bought a "certified" passat with only 20000 miles. Car had 2 bent rims and broken skid plate. Rims were $465 each. Not my first bad experience with this dealership. Another vw went for a service appointment to fix a leaky line. They blew up my fuse panel and then tried to change me to replace it! Sooo service and sales are shady as xxxx. Never again. More

Great ethical workforce So, to sum up I went into VW South Charlotte to get an alignment done, my car's steering had gone off center and I wanted to it fixed. My inital ex So, to sum up I went into VW South Charlotte to get an alignment done, my car's steering had gone off center and I wanted to it fixed. My inital experience was not good. The steering had not been adjusted and seeing my car driven out with another GTI behind it, I assumed the worst and thought that my car was being taken for a joyride. The next day I came back and finally my steering was adjusted and all was well. My concern was raised and that evening the general manager reached out to me personally to let me know that he had taken everything I said seriously and would look into it. I was completely shocked the next day when Travis the service manager had reached out to me. He had personally taken the time to review the dealership's security footage and was genuinley shocked to hear the accusations that my car was mishandled. After he had reviewed the footage he had assured me that my car was never taken for a joyride and offered reasonable explanations for everything that I had witnessed. I did not expect such levels of commitment from management to address my concerns and I was very happy to hear that the management at VW South Charlotte actually cares so much! This is not something that I can say for other dealerships. From that alone, I can say that the experience was excellent. It's so rare to find dealerships that really care about their customers and the experience that they have. I can definitely say that mine and friennds' and family's car will be returning here for future work! More

Car damaged during warranty repair. I brought my car in for service work for a EPC light as well as a Check engine light. So they blamed the turbo as fault and replaced it under warranty I brought my car in for service work for a EPC light as well as a Check engine light. So they blamed the turbo as fault and replaced it under warranty. Then I happened to look at my car when I was there to pick it up and noticed some damage to my front wheels. I was understanding about it and told them that it had to happen in their service depo. Sadly like most dealerships they will weasel out of any thing they mess up. Although they did offer a fix by a local wheel shop which was a decent offer I declined and the reason for that is, that the wheels arrived on the car as new condition when it went into service. I dont want to be stuck with someone else's mess later down the road because someones patch job on my wheels. I was expecting good work and not have to worry about my car being damaged but boy was I wrong. Also they blamed my EPC light and CEL on the intake (Like usual). So they had me drive back home with both the EPC and CEL lit on the dash. Also I'm sure someone will respond to this to make it seem they are being nice. But thats not the case at all, Their favorite line is usually "I'm sorry you feel that way" which is condescending anyway. Last time I ever go here and WARN OTHERS. DO NOT GO HERE YOU WILL GET YOUR CAR DAMAGED!! More
