Do not, and I repeat, DO NOT go to Poughkeepsie Nissan. We were baited and switched when we initially leased the vehicle in December 2022. We were offered pretty favorable purchase terms at first. After agreeing to these terms, we were told to run some errands because the paperwork and vehicle prep would take an hour. While we were out, we got a call from them saying that they could not offer us those terms and if we wanted something close to the monthly payment, we would have to enter into an 18-month lease (which we initially rejected). Backs up against the wall we agreed. Fast-forward to May 2024, we asked for a 3-month extension on the lease to have it returned for September 2024. At the end of August 2024, we had the vehicle returned because we leased a Chevy Colorado from Healy. Well, Nissan waited 2 weeks to officially ground the Frontier we returned in August 2024 and because they waited 2 weeks, we were charged an additional month for a vehicle we no longer had possession over. Nissan finance told us to get a copy of the odometer statement from the dealer (and they confirmed that the dealer would have a copy). Lo and behold, Nissan Poughkeepsie destroyed the odometer statement that was provided to them when we had the vehicle returned to them. They claim that it's "standard practice" to destroy the return paperwork when they ground vehicles which is actually a violation of federal law (my license to practice law comes in handy sometimes). For reference, 49 CFR 580.8 requires dealers to keep all odometer statements provided to them upon return of the vehicles for a period of 5 years. When I explained that to Tom, pretended not to know about this (well maybe he doesn't but ignorance of the law is also no excuse) and then told me he would call me back to check with his regional manager to try to see if they could waive the additional month. Three weeks later, I'm still waiting for that call. Looks like I'll be taking a trip to small claims..... More

Haha Poughkeepsie Nissan don’t get me started this place has the most rudest sales mangers. Disrespectful and this is a trash sale place. I lease a 2020 pathfinder and it was dirty and they were so rude abo has the most rudest sales mangers. Disrespectful and this is a trash sale place. I lease a 2020 pathfinder and it was dirty and they were so rude about the details of getting it showroom clean and spotless. Tell me they did all the could and me as a customer I’m to picky and all new vehicle have some form or defects or grime, which I disagree with. I believe a new vehicle 6 miles should be spot less and shiny white Pearl. They did tell me to take it back next day to do a deeper clean as they said they did and spots were still on exterior of vehicle as well as it look as thy wipe the interior on my vehicle with cooking oils half xxx and it even rune my wife shirt when she sat down in the seat. There sales manger was rude to me and there detailing center sucks they don’t pay attention to any small detail. Found out what on on my vehicle was rail dust rust and it had to be clay bar and wet sand out then a complete re detailing the right way. I’m a person who care for cars and vacuum and clean my vehicle every day DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM POUGHKEEPSIE NISSAN DO NOT DO NOT STAY AWAY THE SALES DEPARTMENT More

Salesman Joe brand new did not know much but very cool guy. I had been speaking with internet guy Tom for about a week and explains everything to him. He assured me he would be part of the process and get me best price etc. I decide on a car narrow it down to a 20 or 21 based on which would be better deal. They did not want to run numbers on both cars despite I saying the price would determine because basically same car. Anyways mgr gives terrible price. 3000$ more then Yorktown and other local dealers.. Tom left for an appointment he had so he wasn’t even there. I feel like these internet guys tell u any bs just to get u in the door. I was told by Tom he spoke to mgr and he was aware of situation..mgr says I had no idea you been working with Tom. Mgrs and pricing here horrible. No wonder everyone goes to Kingston or elsewhere. Oh and if you try to buy a used car here it will be thousands overpriced and they will say that’s because of their lifetime power train warranty.. lol More
