Honda of Ames absolutely blew every other car dealership out of the water. They will do everything imaginable to get you the vehicle you want at the price you desire. I am absolutely thrilled that I went to this dealership and we were able to make it all happen. If you are ever in a bind or just looking to update what you're driving, I would highly, highly reccommend Honda of Ames. Their team is ready to pretty much hand everything over to you on a silver platter just to see you walk away with a smile on your face. worst experience ever went to this dealership looking for a used vehicle. found one within my price range. Asked the dealer if there were any mechanical issues with the c went to this dealership looking for a used vehicle. found one within my price range. Asked the dealer if there were any mechanical issues with the car and he assured me there weren't. I asked at least 2 more times about any issues just to make sure and was told that they look over all their used cars and fix any problems. So stupidly I purchased the car trusting they were being truthful. Took it to reputable mechanic that I've dealt with many times and whom I know I can trust. They did a thorough inspection and handed me a list of $2000 worth of things that needed fixed. I went back to Honda of Ames and showed the manager the list and asked why I wasn't informed of any of these issues. He tried to blame it on the mechanic. Claimed the mechanic was just trying to get money out me. I asked if they (the dealership) was willing to help pay for some of the expenses of getting it fixed and was told no, they weren't going to help. He offered to let me buy another car but at that time I was so frustrated with them that I didn't want to have to deal with them anymore. I would never ever ever buy a car from them again. More

3 years ago I was shopping for a new car. I visited several dealerships and test drove several cars. I found a Honda vehicle that I liked and I visited two Honda dealerships. I didn't feel that eithe several dealerships and test drove several cars. I found a Honda vehicle that I liked and I visited two Honda dealerships. I didn't feel that either one of them were giving me a fair price for my trade or on the new vehicle. I contacted Honda of Ames and they gave me the best price for my trade and on the new vehicle. Great experience from the time I walked in the door until I drove off in the new vehicle. Forward 3 years - I did the same thing, doing research, going to diff dealerships, test driving cars. I decided to purchase another Honda. I visited a local Honda dealership and again I was not given what I thought was a fair price for my trade or on the new car. I contacted Honda of Ames, told them what I was looking for and very quickly they provided me great pricing on my trade and on the new car. As in the past, it was a great experience. Great salesperson (Tom Wishman), great selection of vehicles. 5 out of 5 stars. More
