DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALER. I bought a used car a few weeks ago. When I received a postcard regarding registration, I learned that I needed an emissions test. The car did not pa I bought a used car a few weeks ago. When I received a postcard regarding registration, I learned that I needed an emissions test. The car did not pass. I called the Courtesy Acura service department, and they sent me to the auto maker. It turns out that the car had been tuned. It cannot be detuned, so the OCM must be replaced. I reached out to Acura. The sales manager said it's not their problem, since five days had already passed. Per the DMV, "At the time of sale the seller is required to provide the buyer with a passing emissions test that has not been used previously to register a vehicle or renew a vehicle registration. Colorado dealers are required to provide a passing emissions test or a voucher good for one emissions test at the time of sale." They did neither. More
