I rarely leave reviews, but this experience deserves
attention. I brought my truck in for service after a check engine light came on. The dealership claimed to have fixed the issue, but less than a week
attention. I brought my truck in for service after a check engine light came on. The dealership claimed to have fixed the issue, but less than a week later, the same light came right back on, for the exact same problem.
Communication was absolutely terrible. My vehicle sat there for four full days with no updates, and no good explanation of what was being done. After chasing them down multiple times, I finally learned that they actually had the wrong part the entire time.
To make things worse, when I asked for my truck back (since I needed to get to work the next day), the service staff got an attitude with me, as if I was the problem for wanting my own vehicle back after they wasted four days and still hadn’t fixed anything.
I expected a professional, customer-focused experience from a Ford dealership, but instead I got poor communication, zero accountability, and unnecessary frustration. I will not be bringing my truck back here, and I strongly suggest anyone else think twice before trusting their vehicle with this service department.

Colonial Ford strives for excellence at every opportunity , I apologize that we did not live up to that standard .
Unfortunately as Tom explained the second check engine light was totally unrelated to the first one that was fixed in a timely fashion the purge valve diagnostic . The second issue check engine light was a vent valve failure which requires dropping the fuel tank as the part came in incorrect from Ford the tank was dropped and ready for install , to the point you wanted the truck back that day we assembled the tank and delivered the Ford back to you as promised with the Colonial Pick up Drop Off Service - I truly wish we could have solved the problem and provided a better experience -offering a no charge courtesy vehicle for the day along with completing the repair .
I hope we can meet your expectations in the future -
