I had done my research and found a couple of nice 2008 used Altimas that Coastal Nissan were offering at a competitive rate - particularly an Altima SL 2008, certified with low mileage for a competitive p used Altimas that Coastal Nissan were offering at a competitive rate - particularly an Altima SL 2008, certified with low mileage for a competitive price, though this was not my first choice (as the one I was thinking was more in my budget had sold previous to me making it to the dealership - missed it by a day). I had shown up to the dealership around 4:30 to look around. When the sales rep I had communicated with briefly online was not available, Tom DiPesa made himself available to answer any questions I had, as well as to make sure I was buying the right vehicle for me. Being a larger guy, he knew that the Altima was probably the smallest sedan that he'd like to see me in (though I will admit, it was fun trying to fit into a Versa). That wasn't my only hurdle - I have had credit problems in the past as well, but I have worked hard over the last few years and have corrected myself enough to be able to qualify for decent financing offers. Given my relatively strict budget, Tom suggested that he may be able to get me a BETTER deal on a new 2010 Altima S series -- and he was right! He was able to come almost $2000 lower on the brand new S series than he was on the certified SL series, and keep it within my budget. There was a great deal of consideration taken into my options -- while I did my research and knew what I could afford and what I would and wouldn't do in terms of buying new/used/etc, Tom was more than patient with me and again helped me into the perfect car for my situation - even if it kept us there till closing time. Sean, one of the business managers for Coastal, was still there and began my credit applications that evening, but because it was so late had said it would be best if he picked my file up first thing in the morning when he got in. He did, and had good news for me by 10am -- I'd been approved (at a very fair rate for my checkered credit history). By noon time that day (today), my new Altima had been detailed, the paperwork was done, and I was able to drive off the lot with my very first new car. In general, my experience with Coastal Nissan was very low-pressure and overall, very high quality. While I've purchased used cars from other dealerships in the past that had certain gimmicks, Coastal plays it very straight, but is there for their customers. I would recommend them to anyone who is in the market for a new or used car. More

The service offered by Tom DiPesa was exceptional. He presented every detail of numerous cars to my wife and I. Tom was very courteous, patient, and professional at all times. Mike Shea, the sales mana presented every detail of numerous cars to my wife and I. Tom was very courteous, patient, and professional at all times. Mike Shea, the sales manager, also did a great job explaining options and pricing. The negotiation with Tom was hassle-free, and conducted in a friendly & relaxed manner. We are very happy with the experience at Coastal Nissan, and will highly recommend family and friends to Tom and this dealership. More
