I will start off by saying that my experience at Rock River Kia started out great, there was no issues with this dealer in any way until it came time for the delivery of our vehicle. We dealt with Todd B River Kia started out great, there was no issues with this dealer in any way until it came time for the delivery of our vehicle. We dealt with Todd Berg, (never deal with Todd) and it was absolutely the most terrible service I’ve had. He didn’t make delivery of the vehicle as clear as he says he did, we are from out of state and he said they would drive the car to us for $1000 we thought that was great! He said it would be more for an enclosed trailer so we just chose the cheaper option assuming it was an open trailer. Well on the day of the delivery, a driver actually showed up driving the Telluride, they physically drove the car 800 miles to us, it now has rock chips and bugs splattered all over it. We have the driver wait as we call Todd Berg, once we told him the issue he was immediately defensive and started to raise his voice. He had no apologies or tried to fix the situation in any way he constantly blamed us and said it our fault. So just purely off of his attitude we decide to send the car back and not take delivery of it. Todd then calls me a scammer saying I’m trying to scam him on this sale, and calls us liars. I told him over the phone his attitude was xxxxxxxx and he said he was glad we are sending the car back because he doesn’t want our business anyways and then hung up on me. Funny thing is this guy is suppose to be a “Manager” aside from this in the very beginning, he told me I needed to sign a document agreeing to put down $1000 deposit and that it was non refundable. Which is completely fine and normal, he emailed me the document and said he will not charge my card until he gets the document back signed. After about 1-2 hours I still hadn’t had time to review the document and he proceeds to charge my card $1000 without my consent form being signed. If anyone was being scammed it was me! Last thing to note was while the driver waited on us to sort things out with Todd over the phone, the driver lays down in our front lawn like he’s going to take a nap, and when he first got out of our new Telluride he pulled out his drinks, snack wrappers and duffle bags from our car. What kind of professionalism is that? I’ve never had such a terrible interaction with a dealership let alone personally attacked and called a liar and scammer by a “Manager”. I spoke with Jason the general manager of the store and he said Todd admitted to his behavior and said he overreacted. But doesn’t sound like Todd is going to face any kind of repercussions for his actions so now I’m going to make it known. Too many people have bad experiences and don’t share them when they should. I have seen many people get bad service from a place simply because the people who had a bad experience didn’t share it. As a business owner I see this all the time, reviews are very important and help us improve. More

Dream 16th Birthday Surprise--Bernie and His Team Did It! I can ALWAYS count on Bernie and his team--this is the 14th car we have purchased from Bernie, and 2nd Sweet 16 birthday surprise...first our son, and I can ALWAYS count on Bernie and his team--this is the 14th car we have purchased from Bernie, and 2nd Sweet 16 birthday surprise...first our son, and now for our daughter. She was very sad because her birthday was during the quarantine...and when the DMV finally opened, we promised her that she would get her driver's license. Bernie found her "dream car"...2020 Kia Forte with a sun roof. It all happened so incredibly fast! Bernie worked with Mike and Todd to show her the car to make sure she loved it. But once we realized the DMV was open, we needed to get the car in a matter of a few hours! Bernie and his team were on it. Bernie called Greg and they go it done! When Greg informed us, a very short time after that the car was ours, my heart melted. I was literally at the DMV, waiting for my daughter to finish her drive. Bernie worked with his team, and the "Fabulous 4" got the car ready for my husband and son to pick up...our 14th Ford car (over 25 years)! Once my daughter came home from the DMV, very sad, because we had her convinced that we needed to wait and get her new car later in the summer...she was in shock. As our garage door opened, her 2020 Kia Forte, with sunroof, sat waiting for her with a big red bow. She cried and so did we all! She said, oh my gosh, that's my DREAM car! Bernie, THANK YOU for making our dream and our daughter's 16th birthday the best ever! You did it for our son and you did it again! Greg, Todd and Mike...you guys are the BEST! Greg, you have ALWAYS come through for us! Todd and Mike, it was great meeting you both and working with you both...you both are the BEST as well! If anyone has a DREAM that you think may be impossible, just call Bernie and his team and they will get it done...literally in a few short hours! HIGHLY recommend!!! More

Out of 9 dealerships I found a total of 2 who were willing to be honest and upfront on the costs. Rock River gave me the best service and price. If you're wondering....
