Be aware that this dealer no longer will do walk in oil changes even though their mailed advertisements note that they have express service. Back when I bought my Hyundai they told me if I get my oil chan changes even though their mailed advertisements note that they have express service. Back when I bought my Hyundai they told me if I get my oil changes and tire rotations there, I would get a life time warranty on my engine and power train. So for the last 10 years I have done walk in oil changes. Unfortunately my job has rotating hours and I do not know my hours for the coming week until the Thursday prior. To make matters worse they are booked out on oil changes for so long in advance that I will never be able to schedule an oil change because it will be too late and no appointments will be available. Bottom line that warranty also has milage maximums, so if I drive too far between changes or go on an unexpected trip, I could exceeded the milage maximums and therefore lose the warranty. So again my inability to get a walk in wait appointment could cause me to void my warranty. And if I go anywhere else to do that oil change, that will oil change will not be recognized by Suntrup and will void the extended warranty. So essentially Suntrup has pretty much eliminated the eligibility of group of people who have this warranty by not offering their express service making it virtually impossible to make timely appointments. In a recent engine recall Hyundai sent me a letter and noted that it would take one hour for a dealer to inspect my car and make a computer change. It also noted that if my car was found to be one of the affected models with a bad engine, the car would be kept for a few days while a new motor would be installed and supply me with a car. I called Suntrup and made an appointment and told the person I talked to that I was going to wait for the car. I showed up my appointment day and time and reminded the advisor that I was going to wait for the car. He then notified me that I would have to leave my car for 4 days. I noted I could not do that since I had no way home. I told the advisor that I had an appointment and was told I could wait for the 1 hour check and computer update. I was then told that the person I talked to was wrong. I responded I would take the car to another Hyundai dealer. The advisor said good luck because no dealer in town was offering wait for service for that recall. I came home and called the Dean Team Hyundai dealer on Manchester road. They made an appointment, and told me I could wait. On the day of the appointment the service advisor noted that there should be no problem for waiting, and laughed at what I was told from Suntrup. As it ended up my car was checked and the computer update was done in 45 minutes of my arrival. Personally from a service standpoint the Suntrup dealership seems to have a much different philosophy regarding their customers than other Hyundai dealerships and I'd advise potential customers to steer clear. I called Hyundai and they said they don't get involved with this type of issue. They said contact the dealership management. I sent them an email and never received a response. More

Billy is the absolute best! We have worked with him for a few years now purchasing, trading in, and leasing vehicles and he has always been amazing to us! He listens and validates any concerns and he is willing to answer any and all questions you might have. Even if it takes all day, he will make sure you are satisfied before he let's you leave. It was a pleasure to do business with Frank Roach. He answered all of our questions about the car that caught our interest. Tim McCarthy in service is also due a note of recognition for his input on the potential issues we might encounter with the hybrid as we have had no previous experience with this technology. Fred McClary also was exceptionally good at helping us complete all of the necessary paperwork for the purchase of our new car. All in all a great experience once again at Hyundai South. More
