Before I arrived to Orem Toyota, I told my brother, “If anyone acts a like a typical car sales man and pressures me to do anything, I’m walking out!” My experience was the exact opposite! As soon as I got my new Tacoma home I started hearing noises coming from the engine after the ignition was turned off. I notified my salesman and asked for help. I've tried to get information from the noises coming from the engine after the ignition was turned off. I notified my salesman and asked for help. I've tried to get information from the service manager also and am not happy with the responsiveness or knowledge. I would appreciate someone contacting me for resolution! More

Everyone we delt with were very friendly and did their best to answer all our questions and help us get the vehilce we wanted. The first salesman we met, Elvin (not sure if I spelled his name corretly), w best to answer all our questions and help us get the vehilce we wanted. The first salesman we met, Elvin (not sure if I spelled his name corretly), was incredibly personable and not pushy at all. He was busy with other customers at the time we came in so he handed us off to Kyle who was also very friendly and did all he could to help us. We also worked with Steven Smith one of the Sales Managers, who was also very friendly and personable. At one point my wife and I were ready to head home to think about it and of course being salesmen they asked us what our hangups were and what, if anything, they could help make the deal happen? To some this may have seemed pushy, but to me I simply saw it as them doing their jobs as salesmen. We were looking at a used 2023 Sienna XLE AWD which was exactly what we were wanting, and had we gone home to think on it, it may not have been there when we came back. And who knows how long it may have taken to find another vehicle like it? Ultimately they got us more money for our trade-in than either my wife or I expected (it was a 17 year old Sienna with 163,000+ miles and a rebuilt title, so we didn't expect much of anything in trade-in value) and we're very happy with our decision to buy the new mini-van. The only negative I would comment on is we did have to wait a long time once we'd decided to purchase the vehicle for them to get all the paperwork together and finalize the sale. Once all the paperwork was together though everything went really quick and smooth. We would definitely deal with the folks at Brent Brown Toyota again as overall we had a positive experience. More

Our salesman Tanner was awesome and helped us pick out a nice used car. We sat down to discuss the purchase price and payment options. Tanner was flexible and willing to work with us on the price. The sales nice used car. We sat down to discuss the purchase price and payment options. Tanner was flexible and willing to work with us on the price. The sales manager Steven was not willing to work with us at all. He lied about the KBB value of our trade in and gave a low ball first offer. He would not lower the list price of the car and tried to convince me the company was already losing money on the sale. Eventually he offered to take off $500 and fix some of the many scratches and dents on the car. I wanted to check one last thing on the car before finalizing everything. I came back in and was informed by Steven that I could only have $500 off or some of the scratches and dents fixed but not both. We noticed there was an almost $1000 fee for the Ikon tracker device. We explained that we didn’t need that and they agreed to lower the $1000 fee to $150 to cover removing the device. Steven then informed us that they could no longer offer the $500 or fixing the scratches and dents because they lowered the price by removing the Ikon fee. Steven was all over the place and kept changing things that he had previously said. He went home near the end of these negotiations and we were no longer able to get his approval on anything. We decided to purchase the car with one of the payment options they showed us during the negotiations. We sat down with the finance manager Sheldon and he gave us a paper that showed an interest rate of almost double what the salesman and Steven had promised us. There was obviously some miscommunication between the sales and finance departments. The finance manager was able to work with us and give us the lower rate that we had been promised. More
