I purchased a vehicle and traded in mine. I was told that due to the age of my vehicle they couldn't resale it and it would have to go to an auction. They said on average my type of vehicle I was told that due to the age of my vehicle they couldn't resale it and it would have to go to an auction. They said on average my type of vehicle sells for $3000. Kelley Blue Book trade in value on my old vehicle was $6800. I ended up settling for $4000 as opposed to trying to sell it private party. Two days later they have my vehicle on their website for $12,995. I can't believe they would straight lie to me about the value of my vehicle to them and what they were going to do with it. I would expect honesty and integrity from Findlay, but I guess I was wrong. I was asking for $6000 during the negotiating process. I'm not sure why they didn't negotiate in honesty and good faith for an alleged reputable dealer. At $6000 they still would have made an outstanding profit. They got me good and I'm sure they're laughing all the way to the bank. More
