We went to look at a car one evening, but unfortunately did not agree on a deal in person. We told Steve to call us if they could do any better while we were still in the area, (we live 50 minutes from the dealership). We didn’t hear from him, so decided to head home. During our drive, my husband called and left a message for Steve to call us to check in. We got a call from Steve 10 minutes before they closed saying he got us a deal on the car and we were all pleased with that. Since we were almost home at this point, we told him we’d be back tomorrow around 11:00 am to do the paperwork. All was good! I got a call on my way out to get the paperwork done and pick up the car the next day- apparently they had gotten a lead last night online on the car. It was a better deal for them, so they were going to go with that one instead of the one they made with us just the night before! I had Steve put the manager, Riley on the phone. He was unapologetic for his poor customer service and just kept insisting that they’re going with this deal because it’s better for them and if it happens to not work out then we could have the car. My husband and I have purchased almost 25 cars in our lifetimes and never had anything like this happen to us! What happened to keeping your word on a deal? This behavior is it exactly why car salesman have poor reputations. After waiting a few hours to think about what just happened to us, we called and made an offer $1000 over our original “deal”. Normally, we would’ve have refused to even give our business to a place like this, but this car was be our daughter’s first for her 16th birthday coming up. And they knew this and still didn’t care! Just heartless. Well, they ended up accepting our offer, so I guess the other people were out of luck. Just poor business all around on their part. After telling this story to so many people, they always ask us if we thought they were just making up these other people that they were going with on this “deal”. We were told these customers were paying full price, had a trade in and were putting $2000 down. They didn’t have the best credit so they weren’t sure if the “deal” would go through. We were paying cash, no trade in, but a VERY simple transaction. I sure hope this wasn’t a made up situation to get more money out of us. In the end, our salesman Steve handled everything as best as possible. Riley on the other handled this situation like a total xxxxxxx, I hate to say it. Want to give a shoutout to Dylan for keeping in contact with me for over a week. We had found this car over a week prior to this, but had to go out of town. As soon as we were back in town, he reached out to us to come look at the car. He was very professional and courteous. Unfortunately, Wood Nissan lost all future business of ours and anyone we would have referred to them. Just can’t give more money to this place in good conscience. More

We were greeted at the door and was introduced to Steven Cobb. He showed us the three cars that we were interested in and took test drives. We left to make our decisions and came back 2 days later to purcha Cobb. He showed us the three cars that we were interested in and took test drives.
