Bait and Switch! Extremely disappointed in the communication with this dealership. I spoke to Sofia Nieto on December 26th about a 2016 Hyundai Sonota I was interested Extremely disappointed in the communication with this dealership. I spoke to Sofia Nieto on December 26th about a 2016 Hyundai Sonota I was interested in and explained the price I was willing to pay along with the incentives I qualified for through Hyundai. Moments later we setup an appointment via e-mail to come view the car and the e-mail stated the vehicle was available for viewing along with the price and discounts there were applicable to me. Once I got to the dealership no one greeted me or asked if I needed help. I had to go up to the desk where the managers seemed to be at to ask for assistance. It wasn't till about 15-20 minutes later I was assisted after seeing my name was already on the appointment board in the lobby. I do understand it was busy that day so I didn't have a problem waiting. Sofia asked that I ask for her when I get there, yet she never showed up or even said hello. I worked with a man named Dave who walked me around the lot but the vehicle I was interested in was no where to be found. Better yet there were no Sonota sports with the color I was looking for! After that was all settled I determined this was a possible bait and switch. Nonetheless I decided to go over the price since he was certain he could get the vehicle from another dealer. At that point it was evident Sofia was either completely incompetent or flat out lied about the price. I knew the price online included all applicable rebates and incentives but I asked that she quote me a price with what incentives I qualified for. That price was $17,900. The price Dave provided was the MSRP of roughly $24k. Even after incentives it was roughly $21k, very far off from what Sofia quoted me in her e-mail and over the phone for confirmation. I showed this to Dave and he himself was confused. I'm not sure what type of dealership they run there but I drove 50 minutes from Joliet just to be told the car wasn't available and the price was some made up figure. Disappointing to say the least! I made a decision to go there based on all the positive reviews but now I'm starting to believe they might be fake. This is how dealerships get a bad name! More
