They delivered what they've promised, no gimmicks, no usual dealer selling routing. We did all talking on the phone, (thank you Kevin Yi and Shawn Lagundo), the paperwork was prepared ahead of time. I got to the dealership, I signed all the paperwork (thanks Mike Mayfield) in the most precautionary conditions (given the current situation), got the keys (fully disinfected) and drove away. Smoothest Car Buying Experience of My Life This was easily the smoothest car buying experience I've ever had. I previously bought two other Hyundais from different dealerships in the area. One This was easily the smoothest car buying experience I've ever had. I previously bought two other Hyundais from different dealerships in the area. One was an Elantra (2002) and the other was a Santa Fe Sport (2014) and each had taken 4.5 hrs and 3.5 hrs respectively. I was in and out of Annapolis Hyundai in one hour. My wife and I were prepared for the worst, but after an hour we walked out as proud owners of a new 2020 Palisade. Shawn, our salesperson had all the paperwork ready to go, and Mike our Finance guy explained everything well and processed all our paperwork quickly. They didn't push us to buy more than we had set out to get, and they were honest and transparent throughout the whole process. Other dealerships should take a lesson from this team. In the past, we found that our salesperson was only the first line of defense and that we would speak to 2 or 3 others who would try to sell additional products, accessories, and coverage. One of my previous experiences involved a 25-minute discussion about a carwash plan we didn't want to buy. The price charged by Annapolis Hyundai was the MSRP, which we thought was fair for a brand new model that is so popular. What we noticed from doing our research was that many dealerships in the area were charging well-above retail. We drove from Arlington, VA to Annapolis to buy from Annapolis Hyundai to avoid the price gouging from dealerships near us. Overall, we loved doing business with Annapolis Hyundai and we would both, buy from them again, and recommend that others do the same. More
