I never once saw the price of the vehicle while I was signing things (partly on me for not looking closer) and realized they charged me $2k more than they had the car listed for. Additionally, the salesman used the car being low on gas as an excuse to ensure I didn’t take it on the freeway during the test drive, so I wouldn’t notice the hitch when it shifts into higher gears.
