A friend recommended Toyota of Tampa Bay so when I needed a new vehicle I checked it out. I had looked online and realized that their inventory was amazing. I really wasn’t looking forward to the experience of buying a new car and I walked In skeptical that I was going to get a good deal. That changed immediately when I started talking to the sales consultant Shannon Lamagna. I have to give her a shout out and recommend that you definitely ask for her. She went out of her way to show me as many vehicles as I wanted, she was so informative and a pleasure to work with. I was indecisive, but the time passed quickly and she worked so hard to get me the most amazing deal. Her Sales manager Johnny was also great to work with and he accredited my great deal on a vehicle to the dealership being number one in Florida, but I’m pretty sure it was also Shannon’s aggressive negotiating on my behalf. She didn’t give up I until I got everything I wanted! I never would have thought a car buying experience at a car dealership would be enjoyable and bring me so much joy. I have to add one more anecdote which is that the dealership also have me a LIFETIME power train warranty and Toyo advantage plan. Never thought I’d be so excited about free car washes but this dealership is fabulous. More

Just wasted an hour and a half with the intent to purchase a car. The sales person brought me an offer with all the extras added in and the car went from $23,900 to more than $36,000. The car is adve purchase a car. The sales person brought me an offer with all the extras added in and the car went from $23,900 to more than $36,000. The car is advertised on their website and in Autotrader for $23,900 but I was told many of the "fees", like $1500 because I'm not financing it with them and $1995 for a lifetime warranty were normal. The disclosure on the dealers site clearly states the fees are $999 for a dealer service fee, $184 for private tag agency and $199 for electronic registration. My recommendation is to not do business with any dealership that plays price games that blow up the advertised price by 50%. I've bought many cars over the years and have never seen anything like this. In the salespersons defense, I realize she has no control over how the dealership operates. I'm sure if she were somewhere with transparency she would do very well. More
