Although it's exhausting to negotiate and haggle, I believe I got a fair deal. The finance person was really pushing comprehensive coverage and tried multiple times. I acknowledged that this was obviously how the dealer made its profit and I wasn't interested. Finally, I begged him to let me leave as I'd been car shopping all day and couldn't take it anymore. He apologized and said he had to present it. Other than feeling trapped for over an hour when he said I'd be done in 10 minutes and getting pushed hard on the extra coverage, it was an OK experience.
